I came away from President Bush’s Press conference feeling invigorated; more alive and more jubilant than ever!
The President told us that we must stay the course in Iraq (and obviously in Afghanistan) for as long as it takes; that our troops won’t be pulled out as long as he’s the Commander in Chief.
I like that tough and courageous approach to peace and democracy in this precarious world. God and man, working in unison, with dedication and generosity to win hearts, minds, and a new Middle East where men and women of all faiths and political persuasions can join hands in harmony and cooperation!
If we were to "pull out" now (Bush said), imagine the horror! Iraq might fall into civil war!. Sunis and Shiia might be blowing each other to smithereens! But the way things are now (say the generals on the ground), the Iraqi Army is moving along well and can take over the country ’er long! See? Bush knows! By God he knows!
The problem (Bush says) is that a large number of the world’s populace just "doesn’t get it"..they..that is WE...don’t understand the way the world works. Bush likes us and respects us, but HE knows what’s right..HE knows what’s good for us..and what’s best for the world.
Who can argue with logic like that?

ONLY one group thought chaos in Iraq would be a positive outcome: Israel. Bush is a useful idiot, but the leader of nothing.
The late, great Israeli professor Israel Shahak translated the plan (The Zionist Plan to Divide Arab States - www.freearabvoice.org/ZionistConspiracy_DivideTheArabWorld.htm) which all should read. Here’s the clip on Iraq:
Iraq: Iraq, rich in oil on the one hand and internally torn on the other, is guaranteed as a candidate for Israel’s targets. Its dissolution is even more important for us than that of Syria. Iraq is stronger than Syria. In the short run it is Iraqi power which constitutes the greatest threat to Israel. An Iraqi-Iranian war will tear Iraq apart and cause its downfall at home even before it is able to organize a struggle on a wide front against us. Every kind of inter-Arab confrontation will assist us in the short run and will shorten the way to the more important aim of breaking up Iraq into denominations as in Syria and in Lebanon. In Iraq, a division into provinces along ethnic/religious lines as in Syria during Ottoman times is possible.
So, three (or more) states will exist around the three major cities: Basra, Baghdad and Mosul, and Shi’ite areas in the south will separate from the Sunni and Kurdish north. It is possible that the present Iranian-Iraqi confrontation will deepen this polarization.
This dovetails nicely with Netanyahu’s 1986 (?) predicting the need for a "war on terror," The Clean Break for Securing the Realm paper, and the PNAC Rebuilding America’s Defenses (beginning with "another Pearl Harbor" to get things rolling. All this crap written by the "Neocons" who surround GW Sockpuppet. I urge you to read Shahak’s translation to get an idea of what lies ahead.
