Bush Terror War Devastates London Bill Gallagher July 12, 2005 "The strange thing is it happened in the London underground and in World War II that was a place of safety and now it’s a place of terror." — Ray Flood, Vice President, Commonwealth Club, Warren, Mich.
DETROIT — The carnage in London brings home, again, the abject failure of the "war on terror" as President George W. Bush and his only significant ally, British Prime Minister Tony Blair, conduct it. They are focusing on the (…)

As We Sowed, So Do We Reap

As We Sowed, So Do We Reap Eric Margolis July 10, 2005
LONDON — "The purpose of terrorism is just that — it is to terrorize people and we will not be terrorized." So declared a sombre, determined Prime Minister Tony Blair on Thursday after the worst bombings in London’s recent history.
Blair spoke for all Britons. In the crowds milling about central London right after the four bombings, I saw people who were dazed, confused, and edgy, but no fear or mass panic. Britons rise to their full (…) -
London. Once again: our deaths - your war
12 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
4 commentsThe bombings which horrified London, like the events of the 11th of March in Madrid, struck at the civilian population of the British capital during the summit meeting of the eight big world powers. An attack on civilians is clearly an act of terrorism, but no-one can fail to understand that these operations are conceived by those who plan them and carry them out as acts of war in response to the actions of the western powers in Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine. In this context we wish to (…)

Blair rejects calls for probe into bombings
11 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
Tony Blair will on Monday reject Conservative demands for a government inquiry into last week’s London bomb attacks, insisting such a move would distract from the task of catching the perpetrators.
As police and security services on Sunday continued searching for the bombers - thought to be Islamist terrorists - Downing Street said the prime minister believed an inquiry now into the outrage which killed at least 49 people would be a "ludicrous diversion."
Instead, in a statement to the (…) -
Bush says London attacks targeted civilized world
11 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
3 commentsFrom corporate media today:
"The attack in London was an attack on the civilized world, and the civilized world is united in its resolve: We will not yield, we will defend our freedom," Bush said.
"In this difficult hour, the people of Great Britain can know the American people stand with you," he said. "And just as America and Great Britain stood together to defeat the totalitarian ideologies of the 20th Century, we now stand together against the murderous ideologies of the 21st (…) -
WHO BENEFITS ?
11 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
More terrorist attacks. More people dead and dying and hurting — this time in London. Damn the terrorists! Damn the Al Queda ! Damn the Islamofascists!
I grieve for those in London who have been affected by this trajedy, and yet, is all really as it seems? Is this just another act of terror?
But why create terror just to create terror? Historically, terrorists engage in their chosen venue as a means to an end. Terror creates fear, fear results in either concessions (stopping actions the (…) -
HYPOCRITES!!!
11 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
4 commentsEven British reaction to the London bombing is racist and hypocritical. Our leaders and the media are trying to fool the public by treating them ’special’ and some kind of superior beings. When Blair says our ’way of life and our values’ he is actually inciting hatred and division. We all are Londoners, we live in Britain and we like it. But many of us disagree with Blair and his talk of ’our way of life’. In fact it is Blair who took Britain to unprovoked wars. A majority of British public (…)

[Links to documents which substantiate this article are below the text.]
Former CIA director George Tenet has publicly accused Time magazine of making a false report about the agency’s conduct shortly before the 9/11 attack. The accusation was made during a speech at the University of Oklahoma on March 8, 2005. According to Time, in August 2001 the CIA had misinformed the FBI about Zacarias Moussaoui, who was later indicted and accused of (…) -
Unanswered questions in London bombings
11 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsBirmingham city centre was closed down Saturday night, and 20,000 people were evacuated for 10 hours. West Midlands Police put up an exclusion cordon around the A38 inner-city ring road, blocking off the city’s Broad Street entertainment district and the city’s Chinese quarter, an area full of pubs, theatres, restaurants, flats and hotels. Four controlled explosions were carried out on a bus on Corporation Street, but officers say the item destroyed had not posed a threat.

Heard that before somewhere........
11 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
The three British party leaders Blair, Howard and now Kennedy have all said that the London bombings have no connection with Iraq and that ’’they want to destroy our way of life’’.
This, and the immediate statement by Blair returning prematurely from G8 were parrotting Bush.
Pre scripted, with us/without us, childish Texan rhetoric.
He has now gone on to say to people who link the bombings to Iraq, that this can’t be the case as 9/11 happened before Iraq. What he means is before the (…)
