Heard that before somewhere........

The three British party leaders Blair, Howard and now Kennedy have all said that the London bombings have no connection with Iraq and that ’’they want to destroy our way of life’’.
This, and the immediate statement by Blair returning prematurely from G8 were parrotting Bush.
Pre scripted, with us/without us, childish Texan rhetoric.
He has now gone on to say to people who link the bombings to Iraq, that this can’t be the case as 9/11 happened before Iraq. What he means is before the overwhelming occupation.
Prior to 9/11 the US had bombed Iraq incessantly, the US sponsored sanctions since 1991 were killing 5-6000 Iraqi under fives per month. The Bin Laden family were all friendly with the Bush clan, until one, Osama saw through the greed.

However the overview, with the ’War on Terror’ was to manufacture an enemy to justify the continuation of the enormous military industrial complex budget as there was no Soviet Union any more. They seem to have partially succeeded.
