The claim of responsibility for the London attacks was first posted on one of the dozens of Islamic websites that are routinely monitored by western intelligence services.
The statement, under the name of the Secret Organisation of the al-Qaida Jihad in Europe, said: "The heroic mujahideen have carried out a blessed raid in London. Britain is now burning with fear, terror and panic in its northern, southern, eastern and western quarters."

51 commentsFormer MI6 operative: The mainstream media ignores vital evidence of an inside job. Commentary By Michael James in Frankfurt, Germany 7-10-5
Rested after a good night’s sleep in the Gleneagles Hotel, Tony Blair glanced nervously at his watch and wondered if the bombing of the London transport system would take place on schedule. London’s Chief of Police, Sir Ian Blair, and MI5 boss, Eliza Manningham-Buller, had promised to keep him firmly in the loop; and Jack Straw had advised him (…) -
’Al Qaeda’: How the Pentagon/CIA made an ’Enemy’

Al Qaeda is not and never has been a "terrorist organization."
"Al-Qaida,(sic) literally ’the database,’ was originally the computer file of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians," admits former British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook, whose Foreign Office portfolio included control of British Intelligence Agency MI-6 and the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), in a column published by the UK Guardian newspaper. Staged bombings terrorize everyone while the real perps keep getting richer

How long are we going to permit this vicious tomfoolery to continue?
Every time there’s an embarrassing incident, a charge of official malfeasance, or some nasty revelation to cover up, the powers that be stage a terrorist incident - randomly throw away the lives of an arbitrary number of innocents - and then blame some fantasy enemy as an (…) -

1 commentThree days after the London bombings, Britain said on Sunday it would seek new EU rules to make telecoms companies store records for much longer showing who their customers are calling and emailing.
Home Secretary Charles Clarke said he would raise the issue on Wednesday at a meeting of European Union interior ministers which he has called in Brussels to discuss a joint response to the bombings by suspected Islamist militants.
"We believe that telecommunications records, whether of (…) -

Italy’s prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi, yesterday confirmed that he would start pulling his country’s troops out of Iraq within two months.
Speaking at the G8 Gleneagles summit, Mr Berlusconi said the withdrawal of the first of Italy’s 3,000 troops would start in September.
"We will begin withdrawing 300 men in September," he said, adding that the decision would depend on the security situation on the ground.
He said he had discussed the plan with allies and (…) -

The G8 must seize the opportunity to address the wider issues at the root of such atrocities
by Robin Cook
I have rarely seen the Commons so full and so silent as when it met yesterday to hear of the London bombings. A forum that often is raucous and rowdy was solemn and grave. A chamber that normally is a bear pit of partisan emotions was united in shock and sorrow. Even Ian Paisley made a humane plea to the press not to repeat the offence that occurred in Northern Ireland when (…) -

Last night on CNN I heard them making a connection between the London bombings and an “Islamic terrorist” website called alneda.com. I tried to view the website but it’s been taken offline. I did find the following three year old reference to alneda.com on CNN:

"These statements and others from al Qaeda have been appearing from time to time on a Web site called www.alneda.com.

Terrorism expert Tommy Preston of Preston Global in Frankfort, Kentucky, said sources in the intelligence community reported that at least one person in London, England was warned of Thursday morning’s terrorist attacks moments before the initial blast.
Preston, citing sources in the intelligence community, said former Israeli Prime Minister and current Finance Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, was in London this morning for an economic forum. "Just before the first blast, Netanyahu got a (…)
