Chomsky Says U.S. Pressuring Syria, Iran to ’Punish Disobedience’
Leading U.S. intellectual Noam Chomsky was loudly applauded Tuesday at a lecture in Beirut when he lashed out at U.S. pressure against countries, namely Iran and Syria, as a way to "punish disobedience."

Sad, that the European follow the American policy. But as a matter of fact it also saves money to be spend on the poor starving Palestines.

Professor Chomsky once said "The people allow governments to govern...they only govern with our permission".....It really is that simple.
When are the people going to stand up for themselves and stop allowing this crimminal government to have the power?
I blame the Republican voters for the mess our country is in today. If it was not for them, we would not be in this terrible war that has no end. We would nato all be being held hostage to the boogeyman phony "terrorist" war. We would have been able to enjoy the peace dividend that we all so richly deserved at the end of the cold war. We would not have a phony stock market which is corrupt and out of control. Our country would not be going around threatening to nuke other countries who refuse to allow us to dominate them. We would not be in trillions of dollars of debt, and we would not be a failing democracy based on dumbing down each succesive generation more than the last.
The Republican voters have to take the responsibility for what they have done and the sooner the better.
