  I write my reps very, very often along with the media. But I get no reply or standard letters.

  Everything I and numerous other people have asked Mcdonnell not to vote for, he has and what we aak him to vote for, he doesn’t.

  Sad feeling even though he has lost his main support he will get in again, those machines have a way of deciding things for you.

  I don’t know about you but here’s what I’ve figured out: The Former USA is NO LONGER the USA and expecting things to be the "same" is illusion, delusion and a fantasy. There is NO provision in the Constitution, the Amendments or anywhere else the authorizes the government to LIE to the populace. And when the government fails to observe the statues - - to the letter - - that government ceases to be the legitimate government. So the USA has ceased to be a legal entity since (at least) the coup d’ etat of 2000 by the simple fact that it LIES and continues to LIE. I suggest we all inform our so called "representatives" and congress-critters in Washington, DC that we consider them IMPOSTERS and impotent pretenders to public office because they are NOT doing their JOB(s)! Tell them they must VACATE their offices or face eventual NUREMBURG style prosecution for their continued criminal behavior. The US government is an ILLEGAL entity. It gave up it’s right to legitimacy the second it LIED to US Citizens. Take it from there. You are(really) free now! Use it responsibly. See you on the barricades and IN THE STREETS.

  I really think this is paranoia, and the evidence is so weak. If you can’t wait until September to protest the war, then organize your own. Everytime ANSWER had a DC rally leading up to the Iraq war, I organized a local solidarity rally. After 9-11, I didn’t wait to see what any organization’s response would be. I wrote a one-page response and handed it out outside a local "alternative" paper whose editor had called for bloody revenge.

  ANSWER is lead by the Workers World Party, which is opposed to both parties and the capitalist system as a whole. They can’t be a pawn of the system and against the system at the same time. Unless, of course, every form of dissent is secretly controlled, and we’re in the Matrix.

  If WWP really is a government front, can you demonstrate with similar logic which revolutionary parties aren’t?

    that was the reference to ’cointelpro’ , you know the agency that paid you tax payer money to try to cast doubt on the proceedings.
    the CIA has been for years and years and this is documented, been doing what it could to put people they knew they could at least get accurate information from if not control the behavior of in ’underground’ networks of all sorts. they have a huge budget of your money to keep an eye on you with.
    what’s the logic for them? control. knowledge is power, and if they can infiltrate and over run things like the U.S. media, not the brittish media, thank heavens. and other organizations that americans are going to naturally assume are still controlled by roughly normal people like themselves, so much the better for their ability to manipulate the information and in the case of the fake rally groups, even the movements of the populace.

  That’s funny, i just noticed PDA has an action alert:

  "May 31 to June 3 - National Call-In / Write-in Week for Iraq
  Urge your member of Congress to support legislation for the withdrawal of troops from Iraq."

  A special Call in week- during the week Congress returns home- with no mention of the fact that Congress will be in their home states.

    huh? PDA has a call in week when Congress is not in DC. True they don’t say call DC, but that’s where Congress usually is, and they don’t tell you that Congress is at home. i don’t know if it’s intentional or negligent, but either way it’s weakening the anti-war voice. they need to be clear.

    Why doesn’t it say: Call your Congressmember at their home office next week- or better yet, drive down there with some friends and make your collective voice heard. Stop traffic if you have the numbers. Now that would be an "action alert".

    Someone needs to point out questionsquestions.net and also of course Leftgatekeepers.org I think it is, but google them.
    There is no national anti-war orgaanization that is not controlled. How could they not be controlled? 9/11 was an even greater crime than stealing two elections and no one gives a rats ass. Pacifica doesn’t; the Nation magazine doesn’t; hell, the USA is one step away from martial law and the sheep still pay taxes!

  The Church Committee is a popular term referring to the United States Senate Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with Respect to Intelligence Activities, a Senate committee chaired by Senator Frank Church (D-ID) in 1975. The committee investigated illegal intelligence gathering by the CIA and FBI after such activities had been revealed by the Watergate affair.

  In 1975 and 1976, the Church Committee published fourteen reports on the formation of U.S. intelligence agencies, their operations, and the abuses of law and of power that they had committed, together with recommendations for reform, some of which were enacted by Congress.

  Among the matters investigated were attempts to assassinate foreign leaders, including Patrice Lumumba of the Congo, Fidel Castro of Cuba, Rafael Trujillo of the Dominican Republic, the Diem brothers of Vietnam, and Gen. Rene Schneider of Chile.

  Together, the Church Committee’s reports have been said to constitute the most extensive review of intelligence activities ever made available to the public.

  COINTELPRO is an acronym for a series of FBI counterintelligence programs designed to neutralize political dissidents. Although covert operations have been employed throughout FBI history, the formal COINTELPRO’s of 1956-1971 were broadly targeted against radical political organizations. In the early 1950s, the Communist Party was illegal in the United States. The Senate and House of Representatives each set up investigating committees to prosecute communists and publicly expose them. (The House Committee on Un-American Activities and the Senate Internal Security Subcommittee, led by Senator Joseph McCarthy). When a series of Supreme Court rulings in 1956 and 1957 challenged these committees and questioned the constitutionality of Smith Act prosecutions and Subversive Activities Control Board hearings, the FBI’s response was COINTELPRO, a program designed to "neutralize" those who could no longer be prosecuted. Over the years, similar programs were created to neutralize civil rights, anti-war, and many other groups, all said to be "communist front organizations." As J. Edgar Hoover, longtime Director of the FBI, put it

  The forces which are most anxious to weaken our internal security are not always easy to identify. Communists have been trained in deceit and secretly work toward the day when they hope to replace our American way of life with a Communist dictatorship. They utilize cleverly camouflaged movements, such as peace groups and civil rights groups to achieve their sinister purposes. While they as individuals are difficult to identify, the Communist party line is clear. Its first concern is the advancement of Soviet Russia and the godless Communist cause. It is important to learn to know the enemies of the American way of life.

  The FBI conducted more than 2000 COINTELPRO operations before the the programs were officially discontinued in April of 1971, after public exposure, in order to "afford additional security to [their] sensitive techniques and operations."

  Fueled by outrage over racism and the Vietnam War, the Weather Underground waged a low-level war against the U.S. government through much of the 1970s—bombing targets across the country that they considered emblematic of the real violence that the U.S. was wreaking throughout the world.   I read your post about a week ago, and it’s haunted me ever since. There is something phony that I can’t put my figure on about the way the left operates. I am part of a lot of those events, and I have had wondered more than a few times about certain things, such as some sort of a fake force behind the left ’ thinking committee’ but not the well intended people. For one, Ramsey Clark is a head guy at both ANSWER, and Take Back the Media, and he was Bill Clinton’s guy; remember? Then here, there was a protest called in my city, and ANSWER magically came up with the funds, the police escort, and in if fact the police paraded them around a neighborhood where some police had arrested some punks for beating up a black kid a few days ago, and wanted the charges to stick. Again, the protest got DAYS worth of press, and had EVERY camera in the city there. I started to figure that the city hired them. Another time, the city fire fighters were in jeopordy of losing their jobs, and again, UFPJ, and ANSWER called a protest for a Cheney fundraiser, they had signs made, the TV had lights set up. all the media. and the protester were ALLOWED to get right in front of the door of the fundraiser. Most of those protesters were carrying signs that said ’ 1,000 a plate for Cheney, and nothing for the Firefighters..Also, We knew ahead of time that if we mentioned the firefighters on the otherside, we could get on top of Cheney.. and then I was watching a blog in my city, and someone accidently called the UFPJ, and ANSWER groups ’ rent a protester’... I took this to mean that ANSWER and UFPJ was getting paid. and the people who showed up just did it for free. I can bet you that in both cases, in my city. ANSWER has been paid by this cities unions plenty of times. How else are they paying for a Building, buses, signs, utilities... a NEWSPAPER which is FREE BTW? The newpaper is widely distributed in our city. I am guessing that they are a paid protest group. Then when I saw them referred to locally as ’ Rent a protester’ I started to think more, and more. Then came this post of yours.. I can’t stop thinking that you are right now!
  I seldom comment on anything on the internet.. but this time I had to.. I really think you are right, and I am not sure what else to say, or do.. except it seems that there are not a lot of people who know about it, and it would be nice if this story could be proved, and written. It would make a good book, I wish I could see it in an article in a newspaper, but my guess is nobody wants to hear what you have to say, or for that matter, what I have to say.
