There have been 1,363 coalition deaths, 1,217 Americans, 74 Britons, seven Bulgarians,
one Dane, two Dutch, two Estonians, one Hungarian, 19 Italians, one Latvian,
13 Poles, one Salvadoran, three Slovaks, 11 Spaniards, two Thai and nine Ukrainians
in the war in Iraq as of November 18, 2004. (Graphical
breakdown of casualties).

The list below is the names of the soldiers, Marines,
airmen, sailors and Coast Guardsmen whose families have been notified of their
deaths by each country’s government. At least 8,956 U.S. troops have been wounded
in action, according to the Pentagon. The Pentagon does not report the number
of non-hostile wounded. This list is updated regularly. For a historical look

      there are many pictures and videos on the net about the massgraves,executions, and torture from 24 years of saddam’s regime.

      And the iraqi are rather grateful to the coalition for getting rid of saddam. And their hatred goes mostly against the "resistance"’s terrorism, not the coalition.

    • I would still count them as Saddam’s deaths. The sanctions were approved by the UN so it’s hardly fair for you to blame the US. You should really blame Saddam for the way he has subjected his citizens to all sorts of horrible treatment. Unfortunately, your hate for the United States make you ineffective and not credible and you choose to ignore Saddam and blame everything on the US.

    • Also, people forget that several months ago and quietly shelved by the corporate media it was proved most of the bodies in the mass graves in Iraq were victims of the Iraq/Iran war, and not from some ’Saddam Holocaust’. The 10 year Iran/Iraq war that was perpetuated by the deliberate US policy of supplying both sides with arms to keep slaughter equilibrium at a premium, and profit at the same time.

The corporate media would seize on anything to prove that the mass graves were not from the Saddam Holocaust because it would make Bush look bad and create a real scandal.     • OK Lets have a look; 1) General Electric -owns NBC in 30% of US Households, has $200million ’reconstruction’contract in Iraq, donated $1.1million to Bush Re(fraudulent) election campaign. 2) Westinghouse, (CBS with 14 stations and 200 affiliate channels) again has ’substantial reconstruction contracts’in Iraq with Carlyle Group directors.3)Fox 22 stations in 50% of US households, 132 newspapers all right wing shit, ’donated’ $2.9 million dollars to Bush campaign. These are the main players/criminals who lied about ’mass graves’ so they would NOT ’’seize on something to make Bush look bad’’ -its not in their interest.
      Even your own CIA analyst Dr Steven Pelletiere, has said the mass graves related to Saddam/Baathist massacres is crap. Bush’s concubine Blair initially said there were ’millions of graves’ which eventually became less than 5000. He had to backtrack. (Observer Newspaper-not a lefty blog-18/07/04)
      US foreign policy since 1945 responsible for minimum 10 500 000 deaths and maximum 17 500 000. You shouldnt get all you news from Fox News blogs.

    • This war has been initiated by the Americans. They also delivered poison gas to Saddam.
      It was also a very comfortable to get rid of the opposition in Iraq by puttings them into
      uniforms.

      So much cruelty and then America decided to go after Saddam.

As for saying these media outlets are lefty,thats a joke. So what if they donate to Kerry as well? They hedge their bets but only in terms of McDonalds or Burger King ? Furthermore it was The New York Times who used a "leaked" report from El Baradei at the UN saying that a large cache of bombs and other materiel were unguarded and were now being used by the insurgents and it proved to be untrue. The media covered more of Kerry than Bush and more positively than Bush. You are so full of your own bullshit that you’ve lost your sense of cognition. In spite of the media not doing their job, little more than half of voters did the right thing and voted for Bush while less than half of voters were taken in by the drivel that Kerry was spouting and voted for him and lost.
