The Mettle of A UN Secretary-General - by Stephen Lendman
UN Secretaries-General aren’t usually made of the kind of mettle that extends beyond their willingness to serve the interests of the dominant country that effectively runs the UN establishment. It’s no secret that the world body is largely a wholly owned subsidiary of the nation where it’s been prominently headquartered on Manhattan’s east side since 1952. It’s also true no candidate gets the top job there without first passing a (…)

GOP Crime Syndicate & RICO

Why the Bush Administration Should Be Prosecuted as a Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organization
[snip] Never before have we had a criminal enterprise being directed from the White House. RICO was created by Congress to reach racketeering activities, including white-collar crimes that couldn’t be prosecuted by any other means.
The government of the United States has failed its citizenry. It has ceased to function ethically and honorably.
RICO allows prosecutors (whether civil or (…) -
Bush’s Joke: The "Good News" from Iraq
13 October 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
10 commentsAnd you thought it was a Hell-Hole LAST year!
Bush, a bit stumbly and somewhat incoherent yesterday in the Rose Garden (what a sweet smell!), tried once again to persuade the doubting Thomases in the Press Corps that Iraq’s problems are just a series of temporary glitches and that they can be fixed!
I really had a huge guffaw when Bush had the audacity to actually say he was proud of the Iraqi citizens who wanted "freedom" so desperately they were willing to sit tight and put up with the (…) -
Olmert Courts Hard-Line Party in Israel
13 October 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
By MATTI FRIEDMAN
JERUSALEM (AP) - With his political fortunes plummeting after the war in Lebanon, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is scrambling to shore up his rickety coalition by courting a hard-line party that favors redrawing Israel’s borders to exclude Arab citizens.
Bringing the Yisrael Beitenu party into the coalition would mark a sharp turn to the right for Olmert, who was elected on pledges to cede large parts of the West Bank, and could hurt already slim chances of restarting (…) -
Plea to the Awake, Aware and Outraged

If you are awake, aware, and more than outraged, I’ve got to ask. Has this been a week from Hades or what? Certainly Hugo Chavez - and the rest of the world would agree. Oh, perhaps Tony in the UK would be an exception, as he’s the fellow who seems to find little fault with the US (and some say even holds the American Devil’s uh, pitchfork). Rumor even has it that since taking office, the American Devil-Monster has spread his putrid stench wherever Air (…) -
You Can Help Impeach George W. Bush
12 October 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsThere can be no conflict between freedom and security. We must have both, or we will have neither. President Bush insists that we sacrifice freedom to be secure. His actions as President have endangered both our freedom and our security.
President Bush has radically diminished the security of the United States by his criminal acts. His wars of aggression, defined as the “Supreme international crime” by the Nuremberg Court, in Afghanistan and Iraq have created anger, fear and hatred among (…) -
Shocking Documentary Pulled From Discovery Channel has surfaced
11 October 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsThis is one the most shocking documentaries that I’ve ever watched regarding pedophilia. It came very close to being aired on the Discovery Channel but was pulled due to governmental pressure and ordered destroyed.
A rough footage copy, however, was spared and has recently surfaced online this year.
The governments involvement in this scandal, is a look into not only the invasive nature of a particular case of pedophilia and a drug running business back in the 1980’s, but also lays out (…) -
The Dumbing Down of America

Something is amiss in the great nation called America. Ominous sirens warning this reality can be heard emanating loudly through invisible winds of change circulating our towns and cities. The American people are being strangulated; unbeknownst to the masses they are being transformed and conditioned, becoming the entity the elite have long sought, the culmination of decades of social engineering designed to make of (…) -
An Imperfect Hero. Joseph Wilson’s War
11 October 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentAn Imperfect Hero Joseph Wilson’s War By Alexander Osang October 10, 2006, 01:37 PM Former US diplomat Joseph Wilson was the first senior government official to expose the lies upon which the Bush administration was building its case for war against Iraq. Politics and the media destroyed Wilson’s reputation, but history has proved him right in the end. Now he is fighting to restore his good name. Former US diplomat Joseph Wilson these days meets with visitors to Washington in hotel bars. (…)

Introducing The Longhouse Coalition

Dear People,
The USA has some real troubles. So does the world. Big troubles, and
at the same time this country is run by some folks who seem determined
to make them even worse. War in Iraq, terrorism, out-sourced jobs and
the economy, Global Warming, Katrina, and so on. A litany of woes.
It seems that only if we make immediate and major changes that global
disaster can be averted, yet our government doesn’t appear to have either (…)
