If treason is defined as "consciously acting in a way to harm one’s country or to benefit the enemy of one’s country," then the Bush administration has lately been engaged in an act of treason by openly planning for the first use of nuclear weapons against Iran, a non-nuclear nation.
By the mere act of contingency planning for such a first use, the Bush administration has guaranteed that not just Iran, but probably many other nations that see themselves as remotely threatened by the U.S., (…)

2 commentsColin Powell , formerly known as "America’s Most Admired Man" , now for ever to be labelled "America’s Biggest Repository of Bull*hit " is recreating history right before our very eyes ..... He told syndicated columnist Robert Scheer that the infamous aluminum tubes intelligence hoax was load of bull.... He knew it all along : " The CIA was pushing the aluminum tubes argument and Cheney went with that instead of what our guys wrote...." ...... "Our guys" is a reference to the State (…)

REQUIREMENT FOR A JUST WAR
(If Dick Cheney was a Christian Explorer and kept a diary of his exploits.)
By Peter Fredson
April 10, 2006
It was a pleasant day when I sailed my small sloop out of port. I had taken on full provisions of food and drink, had my CD of THE BEST SERMONS OF PAT ROBERTSON in my player and set full sail for the eastern horizon.
Suddenly a vast wind sprang up which tossed my small sloop like a cork in a bathtub. I was blown off course, my compass stopped (…) -

AUGUST 2005 : In August 2005 , Congressional Quarterly’s Craig Crawford is quoted on the website of MSNBC to the effect that top WH officials have destroyed incriminating emails . The possibilty of White House Counsel Alberto Gonzales and/or White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card informing these officials that the Feds were 12 hours away from demanding all relevant material in the nascent CIA leak probe was specifically referenced in Crawford’s report....... (CIA Leak Mutates Again (…)

Daniel Pipes, the director of the neo-conservative Middle East Forum and a vociferous supporter of the invasion of Iraq, is not an inconsequential figure in the American political establishment. His writings consistently articulate and refine the views of the extreme right in the United States, a layer that exerts considerable influence over the (…) -

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez threatened to expel the US ambassador and blamed him for triggering protests in which his car was pelted with tomatoes and eggs.

Paul Wolfowitz’s Heart of Darkness William Hughes
April 11, 2006
"He had taken a high seat amongst the devils of the land." - Joseph Conrad
American policy maker Paul Wolfowitz reminds me a lot of Joseph Conrad’s character, Kurtz, from his seminal tome, "Heart of Darkness." Kurtz never allowed himself to be judged by the same standards as other mere mortals, nor has Wolfowitz. He seems manufactured in the image and likeness of another purveyor of malevolence - Henry Kissinger! (…) -
Elementary: If Bush was Sherlock Holmes

Let’s just fantacize for a moment or two. If Bush became the famous detective and was reflecting on his own behavior, he might have uttered something like these pronouncements (paraphrased from actual Holmes dialogue)
In comedy they say: Buy the premise, but the bit.
"How slow witted I am, and many blunders have I committed in my lifetime"
"The air of Washington is sweeter for my presence"
"What has become of any brains that God has given me?"
"My well of English is permanently (…) -

By Peter Fredson
April 11, 2006
George W. Bush Company, Inc. has an oversupply of Cow Cookies, Buffalo Chips, Clumps of Dump, Anal Cheese, Blurtch, and Spineless Brownfish that it would like to sell to the public as their substitute for Unvarnished Truth.
And, though many of our textile mills have been outsourced and they no longer spin thread into yarn, the Bush administration is working overtime spinning yarn into ersatz truthiness.
Their supply of (…)
