Our Unitary dictator was well aware that the allegations he proffered against the state of Iraq in the lead up to the war were a farrago of brazen lies....... GOD' told him to invade and  , listening to these inner voices, he dispatched his US armada to invade and occupy  a sovereign nation state that did not pose the United States the slightest danger  ..........GOD’ is now telling him to nuke Iran ......... Oh brother ............ What did Bush know and when did he know it ? ......... 1 ) March 9 , 2002 : The CIA sent a report to the White House informing our precious warmongers that an unnamed source ( Joe Wilson ) had traveled to Niger and could not confirm reports from Italian intelligence that Iraq was attempting to acquire yellowcake uranium from the African Country ........ (’White House was Warned of Dubious intelligence’ , Jonathan Landay, 6/12/03 , Knight -Ridder ) .........2 ) October 2002 : a one page summary of a National Intelligence Estimate outling the view of the Depts. of Energy and State was sent to Unitary Executive Bush (He’s the Decider,after all ) . Their conclusion : aluminum tubes purchased by Iraq and intercepted by the United States were `intended for conventional weapons . ’ 3 ) January 10 ,2003 : A Senior Executive Memorandum was sent to the White House . The document reiterated the objections of State and Energy to the aluminum tubes hoax .....Included in the doc were the additional objections of the International Atomic Energy Agency to the daft notion that the intercepted aluminum tubes were designed for the creation of centrifuges - used for the enrichment of uranium ( "What Bush was told about Iraq " , National Journal , Murray Waas 3/02/06 ) ......... They knew there was no case for their mad contention that Hussein was at the precipice of building a nuke ...........     • What would have been wrong with going in and removing SH from Iraq and not bombing the hell out of it and taking over???? And why didn’t any of our "leaders" suggest this obvious solution??? A little reported fact is that SH offered to leave Iraq and go into exile somewhere else, but the U.S. would not allow that because then it could not have taken over the country and stolen its resources which is the real reason for us being there.

  • What you or I want , my friend , is irrelevant ..... 80-85% of the Iraqi people rejected this attempted occupation of Iraq from the very beginning ....... They rejected a similiar occupation attempt by the British in the last century ....... The Afghans rejected the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan ....... The French were expelled from Algeria ..........The Israelis were booted out of Southern Lebanon ........... We are not wanted there and no amount of wishful thinking will make it so ......... Would you accept an Iraqi occupation of America ? ....... I think not ........US troops should only be summoned to invade and occupy foreign lands when our vital national interests are at stake ......We can only occupy those lands that seek our temporary presence as an interim step before full restoration of their national sovereignty ........ There was no threat .......The Bushies knew that ........ They have turned our forces into a mercenary army for Halliburton and PNAC .........This approach is being soundly rejected by all - here and abroad ...... I sincerely appreciate your feedback

    Why is it that Whitey is so fixated on Saddam Hussien? Certainly, it can be argued successfully that Iraq was better off under Saddam Hussien than what is happenning currently. The Iraqi National Library campus, for eample, was intact under saddam Hussien; recent and partial assessment say that upwards of 70 million books and artifacts dating to 8000 B.C. have been destroyed as a result of the U.S. bombing the campus at the start of the war. Just on this one point I would say Iraq was better off under Saddam Hussien.

    But more to the point it must be asked again: Why is Whitey so fixated on Saddam Hussien? That is, when any subsideray topic on Iraq is mentioned, Whitey bypasses everything inbetween it and Saddam Hussien and fixates on Saddam Hussien. Never questioning or even thinking the possibility that there are many qualified Iraqis who could lead the natioin. It seems in Whitey’s mind there are no other human being in Iraq. This is just spooked thinking. The fear and the potential of Saddam Hussien has spooked Whitey so much that he cannot think of other possibilities, cannnot think of anything other than the boogieman that himself has created. This frightened state of mind is also the one and only reason that Whitey accepts and justifies all the immoral lies, killing, and destruction from this war.

    Oh Sinner man where will you run to, on that fateful day?

      Saddam Hussien may be caucasian but he is no Whitey.

      Whitey and Whitey thinking and Whitey-ness is only an American thing. And even in America there is a distinction between being "White" and being a Whitey. So, now, there is a little item for your elucidation.

      What you exhibit in your reply is typical Whitey ("run for cover") talk. That is, when it is convenient for you to grab and reclassify Saddam Hussian to put wieght to your argument you do so (making him White;) then later you will change this when the need arises. It a weird and fluid way to look at your own tribalism. You, like other readers of this blog immediately assume that I am Black ("a nigger, as an eariler poster said...) That immediate reaction is a "Whitey" reaction.

      Being a Whitey is to celebrate a certain false pride and is a function of being born "White". Many but not all Whites exhibit this. This fusion of thinking being bound to skin color is ever-present in the home, in school, in where you live (or want to live), in social gatherings and so on. It is hard to escape, and a handful few put in the effort to see the context.

      But in due time you may begin to see what I am talking about; experiencing age may, just may, cause some attenutation in your belief and who knows, maybe you will come to understand "Justified True Belief" regarding Whitey and White.
