Incredibly stupid and ignorant Americans caught on tape!

During the past 30 years Americans in general have been seriously dumbed-down by the USA educational system. This is one reason why the Bush Administration warmongers are getting away with their war crimes in Iraq. Below is a video tape showing a number of Americans being randomly interviewed on the street. They were asked, "In terms of the war on terrorism, which country should the USA invade next?" Their answers will astound you!

It will take a few minutes to load but the video is worth viewing.

  • Unfortunately, too many American’s believe the Bullshit on Corporate media! That is WHY we in America, need your outside news media to shine a light and tell what is REALLY going on in world! 80% of major media is corporate owned in U.S. They only tell public what they want them to know! And too many people believe their CRAP! Without checking it out. Please don’t think too harsh of them, some have 2 and 3 jobs to make ends meet and don’t have the time to research stuff! BLAME The damn CORPORATE PRESS OVER HERE! AND OUR LEADERS!

    • I blame the schools who are nothing but a baby sitting service for parents who are too busy and to self involved to check out what kind of non education their children are getting....most schools are only in session less than 9 months per year and half a day per week and have too much play time and sports or other play time events....then their is the propaganda and prayer and total lies they tell the children, then add in creationism instead of critical thinking or science, and you have a forth rate educational system that teaches superstition and rewritten history if they teach anything at all other than recreation.

  • Just like all generalisation, this can be seen as unfair by some. Even though I am not in the field, I still recall that careful international surveys, show year after year, the mathematical knowledge of American students to be persistently at the bottom of the heap.
    I would say, geographical knowledge cannot be much ahead of it either. This is not new. Mark Twain is quoted to say that Americans learn geography by their war. According to that, they still have at least 120 war to go for full geographical knowledge. I wish they would find some less painful way to learn.

    • Yes I agree, Mark said "War is Gods way of teaching Americans geography".
      I share you concern for the next 120 countries, but who can recall the numbers of previous nations invaded. Just an approximate figure not even the names would satisfy me.
      American youth may in the majority be lacking historical knowledge, most countries have done an excellent rewriting of history for their youth, fostering a false and warped sense of nationalism or as you say in the US patriotism.

    1) read the ticker tape news at the bottom - it’s comedic gibberish
    2) how come when the interviewee says "invade iraq", Australia is labelled Iraq, & when they say "invade korea", Australia has conveniently become Korea.
    3) The news logo is CNNN

    • Anyone who believes this to be a tape of America is an ignorant asshat. "CNNN" is a "Daily Show" styled news satire that airs in AUSTRALIA. They were making fun of Australian ignorance, not American. Dumb asses.
