Have you noticed that NONE of the important activities that led up to Bush’s War were NEVER brought up.No WMDs .....no mention of the downing street memos.....depleted uranium...violations of human rights and genocide.DESTRUCTION of our constitution...why didn’t ANY of the Dems scream bloody murder about the fact that they were flat out LIED to ,during the lead-up "sales pitch" about the justifications for going into Iraq??This is just another case proving that the Dems and Repubs are the 2 (…)

1 commentA Trial Giving Kangaroos A Bad Name - by Stephen Lendman
As the dominant corporate media in the US made sure everyone in the country would know just ahead of the mid-term congressional elections here, Saddam Hussein was convicted of crimes against humanity on November 5 for his involvement in the killing of 148 Shia men in al-Dujail village after a failed assassination attempt against him there in 1982. The Supreme Iraqi Criminal (Hanging Court) Tribunal (SICT) sentenced him to death by (…) -
End of the Neo-Cons

The neo cons’ grand design lies in ruins. America’s political leadership will abandon Iraq and the neo-cons. An Iraq exit plan is now in the final stages. The only question is how rapidly the Americans will leave.
There isn’t a Republican drawing breath, war hawk John McCain included, who wants to campaign in 2008 on a diplomatic and military horror show produced and directed by a Republican White House and a GOP-controlled Congress. Among Republicans, (…) -

I am going to ask this question based upon based upon this Times Online article: Nuclear steps put region on brink of most fearful era yet, exactly how has the Bush/GOP led government made the world safer?
This article cites “with the sudden rush by Arabs, Iranians and Turks to master nuclear technology and one day unlock the secrets to the atomic bomb.” They also have stated that it (…) -

Every morning, I check the stats on my blog to see which articles are resonating with my readers it helps me focus on what issues are important and issues that are not. As I checked the stats this morning, my jaw dropped as I saw that my piece “February 15th, 2003: Little did we know” was read by 444 people. You may ask why this surprises me. I have written for sites such as (…) -

By Peter Fredson
November 4, 2006
I have searched all the major newspapers in vain for the greatest Iraqi disaster this year. There seems to be a massive cover-up of hundreds of American dead, not to mention many Iraqis. This October Surprise may prove to be the undoing of Secretary Rumsfeld, if not George Bush. I found the story on several blogs by surfing the Internet.
The original story was written by Brian Harring on this link: (…) -

February 15th, 2003: Little did we know By Mary MacElveen
November 3, 2006
On February 15th, 2003, the world came together to tell Bush that we did not support his invasion of Iraq, but little did we know at that time the extent of the damage that would be done. We, who protested this war, never foresaw that over 2,800 U.S. soldiers would be lost to us forever. Never did we foresee that 655,000 innocent Iraqis would be killed. I use that figure of 655,000 based upon the publication (…) -
As Democrats, we must not fear in speaking of God

If we are to believe that we live in a country based upon Christian values in which Bush and those like him wear God on their sleeve, as evident with the war in Iraq, in which Bush and the Republicans have broken some of the Ten Commandments. We must face up to the fact; we have not been living up to our Christian values. The reason why I only mention Christianity is because most that have led this (…)
