U.S. Military Men Question Israeli Strategy

(IsraelNN.com) American military strategists have questioned Israel’s strategy in its retaliation against Hizbullah terrorist targets in Lebanon. The former head of the U.S. Army War College, Stephen Biddle, charged that Israel’s bombing is aimed at pressuring "others into solving their problems for them." Another strategist, James Dobbins of the Rand Corp., stated that Israel’s military targets "have no conceivable relationship to Hizbullah."

However, IDF spokesman Jacob Dallal told the Associated Press that Hizbullah terrorists often store rockets in peoples’ homes. "If there is a rocket stored in an apartment building and we attack the apartment in the building in which it is stored, we have the right to attack because of the missile," he explained.

  • Who can understand Israeli logic when it comes to waging war except for the United States House of Representatives, save eight? Everyone in Lebanon is suspect.   • As usual we’re being manipulated into asking the wrong questions. Where in the hell did this latest round of Israeli atrocities come from all of a sudden? 83-57 your post contains about the only logical reason for what is going on in Lebanon. Why all of a sudden is Hezbullah a problem? I thought that Iran was "THE GREAT EEEEEEVIL"! I guess Iran’s no longer "a thing" huh.What about Hamas? I thought since the people of Palaestine voted them in, they were the latest "GREAT EEEEEEVIL".
    The truth is that it is the US who is slaughtering Lebanon. The Israelis don’t do jack unless they know we, the 800 lb. gorilla, the bully on the block, are behind them. And as usual, we are sitting on our fat asses and letting them get away with it.
