In Japanese, "Muka Muka" means "I’m so angry that I could throw up!"

Today George Bush (no doubt on the advice of Karl Rove),went before the Press Corps and took questions from all quarters, including Helen Thomas (who he has diss’d for 3 years!). Helen asked him "After thousands have died in Iraq because of a series of reasons given by this Administration which have been proven untrue, can you explain why you went to war?"

Bush’s response to this question was only among the first of a litany of outright lies."I didn’t want to go to war, despite what you’ve heard. I never wanted war"
How’s that again? Most readers here don’t need to be told that as far back as 1993 Bush was approached by Texas neocons to discuss attacking Iraq if and when Bush ran for the presidency. That became a reality, of course, and starting in 2002 Bush was talking with Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz and others who heartily recommended attacking Iraq. Rumsfeld said "Why attack Afghanistan?..there are many better targets in Iraq" (etc). Bush also pushed for an attack because "Saddam tried to kill my dad", and "because Saddam sought yellowcake from Nigeer".

He also told the Press corps that "Democracies don’t war" That, of course, is a blatent lie. It’s happened many times. I might point out our phony war against North Viet Nam for starters...and of course OUR Iraq fiasco! Bush told the Corps that "These people are willing to kill innocent men, women and children for their own agenda" And are WE guilty of this precise crime as well? I think so.

Another absurd comment was "al Qaeda wants to triumph in Iraq so they can use that country as a headquarters to plan attacks on their neighbors and our country"

What can I say in the final analysis? How about "Muka Muka!"

  • The Japanese word that best fits Bush is "Banzai!Karl Rove taught him that word, but he doesn’t have the spirit behind that word as those warriors did in Japan. Bush only has BS.
