Means, opportunity & motive (MOM) - Israel, US or South Asian involvement in Mumbai 7/11 atrocity?

The Mumbai bombing atrocity - 200 dead, 700 wounded - has shocked the world. Was this an Indigenous South Asian crime or were the Americans or Israelis involved? Nobody has claimed responsibility as yet. However analysis of Means, Opportunity and Motive (MOM) indicate Indigenous candidates (Kashmiri separatists, Muslim-origin terrorists, Al Qaeda, pro-Israel Hindu supremacists or Indian Intelligence) or Non-indigenous candidates, specifically Israel and the US who are closely linked to Indian Intelligence and Pakistan Inter-service Intelligence (ISI), respectively. The US and Israelis are the clear beneficiaries of the atrocity and in addition to Motive had Opportunity and Means.

MEANS (including past track record as an indicator of preparedness to effect extreme violence). The Indigenous candidates have credentials for extreme violence, most notably involvement of Kashmiri separaratists and the Indian Authorities in huge casualties in Kashmir, Muslim terrorists in Pakistan atrocities, the Taliban in Afghanistan and Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and elsewhere in the world. The Israelis have a horrendous record of non-state terrorism before 1948 and an even worse record of state terrorism after independence (thus post-invasion avoidable deaths in the Occupied Palestinian Territory total 0.3 million). US covert state terrorism has killed millions throughout the world in South America, Central America and Asia. US state terrorism is responsible for 18 million avoidable deaths in post-1950 US Asian wars, including post-invasion avoidable mortality totaling 0.5 million in Occupied Iraq and 2.0 million in Occupied Afghanistan (see: http://mwcnews.net/content/view/5106/26/ ,

OPPORTUNITY. Pakistan or Afghan Muslim-origin non-state terrorists would have had restricted opportunity because of Indian counter-terrorism measures. However the Israelis and Americans, Indian Hindu Supemacists and Indian Intelligence would have had untrammelled opportunity. India is a major destination for young Americans and Israelis and Israel is now a major arms supplier and Intelligence associate of India.

MOTIVE. Kashmiri separatist terrorists (currently the favourite candidates of the Mainstream media) would have had the simple motive of revenge. However Muslim-origin non-state terrorism only results in negative responses and in the cases of the US and Israel the responses have been devastating i.e. Muslim terrorists had nothing to gain. 7,000 Western civilians have been murdered by Muslim-origin non-state terrorists over the last 40 years (assuming no US or Israeli complicity in 9/11) but the post-invasion avoidable deaths (excess deaths) in the Occupied Palestinian, Iraqi and Afghan Territories total 0.3, 0.5 and 2.0 million , respectively (see: http://mwcnews.net/content/view/8023/26/ ). In contrast the Mumbai atrocity has clearly benefited the horrendously destructive "War on Terror" being conducted by the US or its surrogate Israel in Iraq, Lebanon, Gaza and Afghanistan.

The US is competing with the burgeoning economies of China (population 1.3 billion) and India (population 1.1 million) for OIL and other resources. The Mumbai atrocity benefits US geo-political interests in the Eurasian axis, especially if it seriously damages South Asian peace and prosperity. Just as 9/11 was of major benefit to US strategic interests as an "excuse" for invasion of the Middle East and Central Asia, so the Mumbai atrocity further advances those same interests. The US is competing with the world for resources and clearly wants to maintain its disproportionate utilization of global assets. The US accordingly has a major interest in hegemony over South America, Africa and the Eurasian axis. The impoverishment of Africa through debt, militarism and the HIV/AIDS epidemic is in US interests - as is continued impoverishment of South Asia and devastation and occupation of the Middle East and Central Asia.

The Mumbai 7/11 atrocity may well prove to have been a South Asian equivalent of the 9/11 World Trade Center atrocity and similarly executed for reasons of US Establishment geo-political strategy
