The BBC: A Global Instrument of Zionist Propaganda
19 August 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
3 commentsBBC Coat of Arms, c1932: "Nation Shall speak Peace unto Nation"!
The portrayal of the BBC as independent and impartial public broadcaster is sadly misleading. The BBC is a global instrument of Zionist propaganda. In addition to defending Israel’s terrorism and the illegal occupation of Palestinian land, the BBC is an active complicit in Zionism war crimes throughout the Middle East.
A study by Greg Philo and Mike Berry of the Glasgow University Media Unit in Scotland reveals that the (…) -

The US media’s biased coverage of the crisis in Lebanon should come as no surprise. While the White House and Congress claim a “special relationship” with Israel, our news outlets are not supposed to have a “special relationship” with anyone. Their job is to fairly reports on matters; anything less is a disservice to those watching their news programs and reading their newspapers.
Shockingly, Larry King Live has been “fair” in its coverage of the conflict consuming Lebanon (…) -

1 commentOpen Letter To The American Media By May Ibrahim July 27, 2006 Dear Members of the American Media, I have been following your coverage of the Israeli attack on Lebanon, and I am appalled to see the lack of information provided to your audience on the ACTUAL escalation of events that has truly led to this inconceivably unjust and criminal military onslaught onto Lebanon and its citizens by the government of Israel.
Lebanon and the Lebanese population will suffer for months, if not (…) -
Lebanon: Some Primetime Lies From US Media

4 commentsLebanon: Some Primetime Lies From US Media Jonathan Cook, Arab News Monday, 31, July, 2006 Last week I had the pleasure to appear on American radio, on the Laura Ingraham show, pitted against David Horowitz, a “Semite supremacist” who most recently made his name under the banner of Campus Watch, leading McCarthyite witch-hunts against American professors who have the impertinence to suggest that maybe, just maybe, Arabs have minds and feelings like the rest of us.
It was a revealing (…) -
Our World today is the Result of many Years of Media Mind Control
29 July 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsToday will governments talk of democracy, freedom, jobs, and future hope IT IS not these things that are the foundations of our system but the desire to self pleasure and to ignore as much of the issues and problems of others as possible. That is why drug usage and the culture of self absorbtion was planned and executed by the New World Order starting with the advent of advertising (public mind control) combined with the works of psycho-analysis and understanding how to scientifically PUSH (…)

1 commentFighting Back Against The PR Presidency By Walter Pincus July 13, 2006 The Summer 2006 issue of Nieman Reports is about "Reflections on Courage." Veteran Washington Post reporter Walter Pincus thinks that Washington editors and reporters should be brave enough not to cover any statements made by the president or any other government official that are designed solely as a public relations tool, offering no new or valuable information to the public.
Courage in journalism today takes all (…) -

Former Vets With GOP Ties Boost War Effort In Blogs By Jerry Zremski, News National Correspondent 6/25/2006 WASHINGTON - A former spokesman for President Bush recently offered to several newspapers supposedly objective freelance stories from Iraq by two combat veterans who lead a pro-war group with deep Republican ties. Several months after revelations that a Pentagon contractor was paying Iraqi news outlets for favorable war coverage, former White House spokesman Taylor Gross approached (…)

The Most Influential Australian Of All Time Is....An American
15 July 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
By DP Mason
It just makes your heart swell with Australian pride to discover that ’The Most Influential Australian Of All Time’ actually turns out to be an American.
The Bulletin Magazine has oh-so-pomously decided that some ex-Australian media mogul named Rupert Murdoch deserves to be called ’The Most Influential Australian’, despite the fact that he didn’t think being an Australian citizen was worth as much as owning a few American television stations.
That Murdoch is ranked above (…)
