On Tuesday, September 8, the death toll among US soldiers passed
1,000. Tens of thousands of Iraqis have died. Meanwhile, Halliburton
has raked in more than $80 million in profits and the candidates of
the two war parties travel the country in corporate jets promising to
"stay the course."

Every day that passes, the crisis facing the American people deepens.
Resistance to a brutal colonial occupation escalates and spreads
across Iraq as both corporate political parties march in lock-step to
intensify this war, increase the numbers of troops, allocate yet
further trillions of dollars to permanent war and devastate social
services in America.

We will rally on Friday at 5 pm in front of the Times Square
