Home > On Memorial Day: 3 Letters to Bush
Wars and conflicts Governments USA
Dear President Bush: I’m writing to you
from Iraq to say to your honor I’m true.
I know that I’m fighting to keep our land free
to stamp out a tyrant, protect family.
This is a tough war, it’s hard but it’s worth it,
but I know you’ll protect me, unlike that John Murtha!
....John. Q.

Mr.Bush:
I’m here at the hospital in Ramstein Air Base
an IED blew off a lot of my face
Part of my spleen was destroyed in addition,
and docs say I’m not in the finest condition.
I’ve had time to think with what’s left of my brain,
I’m no longer loyal, this war was in vain!
You sent me and friends over here to fight, why?
"Liberation", WMDs, were all just a lie!
I see that so clearly now, but it is too late
and this sorry mistake has now sealed my fate.
...John Q.

Bush:
You dumb empty suit!, deceiver and worse!
My son John just died, I’m told by his nurse!
You asked him to go and sacrificed him
and all of his kind..for oil and a whim!
I’ll never forgive you ’til my dying day!
and hope you’ll soon face those dead ghosts, that I pray.
The evil you’ve done can never be righted
a country, a people, their hopes you have blighted.
I’m taking John home in a flag covered coffin
and YOU can bet, swine, I’ll think of you often!
....Mrs. Q.

Murderers like the American Nazi troops should suffer! No, mercy for killers in uniform. Collateral damage is war crime.
