RON PAUL IS A FREAKING GENIUS
Ron does have a sense of humor. He introduced this one page bill that if enacted would destroy all the special interest groups, all the lobbyists, and reduce the power of Washington by 99%. Read it carefully. It is truly a classic. I love this guy.
111th CONGRESS 1st Session H. R. 3396

Who Are These Democrats ?
21 August 2009 par (Open-Publishing)
By David Glenn Cox
Times change and political definitions change as well. The Republican Party was born of an anti-slavery plank in the days of Abraham Lincoln. The Republicans were the party of reform and were, dare I say it, liberals. The Democrats were the party of the status quo, supporting slavery and big business. In my childhood I was raised with John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Hubert Humphrey, Lyndon Johnson, and all of them basking in the light of Franklin Roosevelt and Harry (…) -
A New Beginning
13 July 2009 par (Open-Publishing)
By David Glenn Cox
Political parties, like people, have a life span, but unlike people they are driven by their relevance. Political parties which are no longer relevant cease to exist.
The Republican Party is a perfect example; its central core values of low taxes, small government and less regulation have been proven false and the Republicans have been exposed for what they are, the party of the rich, the party of less taxes for the rich, and the party of less opportunity for the poor. (…) -

The daily bleeding of thousands of jobs will soon turn our economic crisis into a political crisis. The street protests, strikes and riots that have rattled France, Turkey, Greece, Ukraine, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Iceland will descend on us. It is only a matter of time. And not much time. When things start to go sour, when Barack Obama is exposed as a mortal waving a sword at a tidal wave, the United States (…) -

Why I’m Not Now and Have Never Been the Democrats’ "Rush Limbaugh"
Huffington Post
I have watched with mild amusement this week the self-immolation of the Republican Party as it bows before the altar of Rush Limbaugh, begging for mercy, pleading for forgiveness, breathlessly seeking guidance and wisdom from The Oracle.
President Obama and the Democratic Party have wasted no time in pointing out to the American people this marriage from hell, tying Rush like a rock around the collective (…) -
The Creeping Hand of Socialism
17 February 2009 par (Open-Publishing)
By David Glenn Cox http://theservantsofpilate.com
When we have all been thoroughly indoctrinated in truth, justice and the American way, the very word socialism evokes flickering black and white images of Winston Smith. His empty, loveless life controlled by the stern-faced Big Brother. Or we hear the clicking sounds of jackbooted policemen, and even worse, of the secret policemen.
Who told you these things? Who put these images before your eyes? Why, the very people who benefit from (…) -

Video: Chairman Tom Price with 1,073-page Non-Stimulus Text
Republican Study Committee Chairman Tom Price discusses the big-government handout that Democrats are going to push through Congress. The final version of the bill even has hand written notes that allow for more irresponsible spending.
Democrats made the bill available at 11 p.m. on Thursday night. At 9 a.m. Friday morning, the House begins debate on the bill. If members of Congress actually took the time to read the bill, they (…) -
Let the Sky Fall

Let the sky fall, let the sun crash and commence with the days of iron rain. Let the blood of the guilty and the tears of the innocent mix and intermingle in the sewers of greed. There is no bipartisanship in Washington; there is only buy partisanship. The President, still in his first month in office, has had dinner with Republican pundits. He has gone to Capitol Hill to meet with both House and Senate Republicans.
He has supported a (…) -

CANADA’S PRINCE OF DARKNESS ASSUMES LEADERSHIP OF THE LIBERAL PARTY
John Chuckman
Since leaving the shaded groves of Harvard a few years ago, seeking as his second career the running of a country, Michael Ignatieff has been a prominent politician in Canada . He didn’t just pack his bags and come home – he grew up in Canada – he had the encouragement of some Liberal Party officials as a possible future leader. While it’s true that the Liberals needed to do (…) -
Canada’s ’socialist’ NDP supports US Terror War in Afghanistan
11 December 2008 par (Open-Publishing)
Canada’s New Democratic Party has abandoned it’s nominally anti-war stance on Afghanistan. The NDP has recently formed a coalition with the opposition pro-war Liberal Party in an attempt to oust the ruling Conservatives.
This abandonment of a principled anti-war position by a "left" party has been barely reported by the always subservient mainstream corporate media in Canada. It is a shocking and appalling position for a social democratic party to take and should not go unnoticed or (…)
