President grossly delusional, should be removed from office

WASHINGTON, D.C. — (OfficialWire) — 06/19/05 — Speaking during his weekly radio address Saturday, George W. Bush told Americans that the U.S. was forced into the war in Iraq because of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

"We went to war because we were attacked, and we are at war today because there are still people out there who want to harm our country and hurt our citizens," Bush said.

In fact, there will always be people ’out there’ who want to harm our country and our hurt our citizens because our government’s foreign policy in the Middle East is condemned by the majority of the people living there.

In reviewing his comments Saturday, either Bush is using cocaine again or he was experiencing a schizophrenic episode. Perhaps both.

The entire world already knows that with the help of Tony Blair and his government, Bush and the Bush administration "fixed" the facts concerning all manner of intelligence associated with Iraq and that it was their intent as early as March 2002 (but probably before that) to attack Iraq to achieve regime change. But don’t take my word for it, just listen to Bush confirm on September 18, 2003 that "We’ve had no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved with September 11".

Few people doubt that the Bush administration is currently ’stacking the deck’ against Iran, in order to justify an attack against that country.

So for the president to proffer his lies again to the American people, as he did on Saturday, indicates either criminal behavior or suggests a very sick man.

Irrespective of the ongoing efforts by a growing number of Americans to impeach the president, I believe there are sufficient grounds to remove Bush from office, based solely on his unsound mental health.

Is the president losing touch with reality?

Is the president so psychotic (grossly delusional) that he is uncooperative and does not respond appropriately to advice?

There are several schizophrenic disorders which involve people not being able to process information correctly. Schizophrenia affects more than 1% of the U.S. population and can be one of the most debilitating illnesses. People with forms of schizophrenia may experience a number of symptoms when they are unwell.

People experiencing an episode may experience fragmented thinking processes, which may show up in speech and movement as if someone is not in touch with reality.

Now, honestly, who does that sound like?

"Some may disagree with my decision to remove Saddam Hussein from power, but all of us can agree that the world’s terrorists have now made Iraq a central front in the war on terror," Bush said Saturday.

Again, either the president is a pathological liar or he does not recognize that the reason there are so-called insurgents (read: Iraqi freedom fighters) is because the U.S. invaded Iraq.

During the reign of Saddam Hussein, there were none.

    What you and many, many people like you do not want to admit is that the American citize n wants this war. On many levels there is a hate for Arabs and Muslims in the American citizen’s heart and mind. It is one of the basic reasons that anything from the grab-bag of excuses will be accepted by the American public. Bush say we are war because others want to harm us then so be it... It is not even a small jump in the minds of Americans to accept this as true and real. They are already there in thier spoken and unspken beliefs.

    Bush alludes to the 9/11 attacks to the current war in Iraq and the American public believes it as true — because they are already of this belief.

    You will never mount an effective challenge to counter this beleif because you are not addressing the base hatred that is at the heart and soul that is the American citizen. And no amount of words nor time will correct this belief against Arabs and Muslims.

    • Mr. Richards is correct. I, like many of my fellow Soviet Canuckistanians, (Canadians according to P. Buchanan) used to believe that the "people" were being led/manipulated, and it was the "government" that was doing all these bad things, and that if Joe Hardhat just "woke up" America would stop going around the world and killing people (America is the world’s leading rogue state - Noam
      Chomsky).

      This is no longer true, if it ever was. America is at war because the American people want and need to use a majority of the worlds resources - even though they represent only 6% of the worlds’ population. In their hearts American know that they must fight so they can continue to grow so immensely fat, they need their stomachs stapled, they need to fight so they can continue to live in a desert like Nevada, yet have green grass lawns, they need to kill so they fuel their SUVS with the blood of children, I could go on but I feel the bile rising in my throat.

      This is an American war, dreamed up by Americans, fought by Americans, and supported by Americans. Sure there is dissent, but these are not serious people - if they were they would do more. But they don’t. And the war continues. The rivers of blood continue to flow...

      Bush is the president of america, he speaks for america, he is america.

    • I think President Bush is a nightmare for American people. Instead of bringing people together, he separated American people. He is a lier and worse President in America. It will be a continue downfall if half of American people refuse to see truth and blindly believe everything President Bush says without question his lies. It is sad, so many American people will back him up due to their believe of religions and political party interest. Also, the media was threaten by this administration and pay by the corporations to cover up the truth.

  • I think what is most scray about Bush is his lack of conscience. There have been so many people killed in this war and I never see any regret in his face. He seems so unaware of the crimes HE has committed. I pray that more and more information from the Downy Street Memo comes out and all Americans, right and left, can see how sick this man is. We need him to leave and he needs to take his pack of criminals with him.

    • I had always thought that the definition of a psychopath included the idea that they have no conciences. If that is so, then Bush is, by definition of being delusional, out of touch with reality, and having no conscience, a psychopath. And this is the man in charge of the most powerful nation in the world....

  • Well, that’s not really true. There is one way to get rid of this asshole. Let’s call it the Kennedy Syndrome and leave it at that. I’ve started watching TV, when this jerk speaks only to hopefully witness someone putting a round in his forehead.

      Whether he is delusional or not is not so much the thing as how the American public is accepting of what he says and does. Yes, a hand full reject what he says and does but the majority of Americans are quite accomodating because Bush is doing what they want and need.

      I have first hand knowledge of people in glee over Iraqi deaths and how "our" will be protected from being stolen by China; etc., etc..

      Believe me the bulk of the American public wants this war.

      In any event, whether Bush leading or the likes of Kerry is in office the policy die has been cast... What you are seeing is the first few years of a war lasting decades.

    • very good...bush is not worth wasting analysis or criticism on - that he is heavily protected by his bodyguards, et al is a given...very much like Saddam was-it is a testament to his top notch security team that he is still in the WH.

Most of the American people don’t like President Bush’s policy and the War decision, but this administration using the goverment’s power threaten the real reporters and shut them off. This is the reason, many of the American people can’t speak out except the website like this. Thanks for providing the opportunities for monitorities to speak out in this site. As you can think, there will be a constant fights among the American people itself due to the President Bush’s bad policy. We are in trouble as long as he is the President.

This administration demonstrated the complete opposite of the concept in democracy that they try to push. It’s administration false and cover-up by using the word "democracy" and "freedom", but in fact, this President and his administration is taking away most majority rights of America people from his constant poor decision. and poor ruling of policies from Republican party’s controling and leading in the Congress. He is pushing for all the wrong directions for this country. What we see is the extreme right wing party in action.
