In the Saudi government daily Al-Watan, a n article from Brussels written
by Fakhriya Ahmad charges that, based on alleged secret European military
reports, the U.S. military in Iraq is harvesting and selling human organs.
The following day, the story was also published in the Iranian daily Jomhouri-ye
Islami, [1] as well as the Syrian daily
Teshreen. [2] The following are excerpts
from the article: [3]
"Secret European military intelligence reports indicate the transformation
of the American humanitarian mission in Iraq into a profitable trade in the
American markets through the practice of American physicians extracting human
organs from the dead and wounded, before they are put to death, for sale to
medical centers in America. A secret team of American physicians follow the
troops during their attacks on Iraqi armed men to ensure quick [medical] operations
for extracting some organs and transferring them to private operations rooms
before they are transferred to America for sale.
"The reports confirm the finding of tens of mutilated cadavers or cadavers
missing parts. Some were found without a head. The American military command
could not offer reasons to explain the bewilderment about the missing parts,
suggesting that this may have been caused by the penetration of bullets to
the [missing] parts. But these excuses cannot be medically accepted. The reports
also confirmed that the burning of bodies was deliberate in order to conceal
the crime of organ extraction. [The reports] further indicate that American
medical teams have [made] active and suspicious moves in Iraq to recruit some
Iraqis to guide them to dead and critically injured individuals to engage in
the extraction of organs. These teams offer $40 for every usable kidney and
$25 for an eye. The reports confirm the finding of mutilated bodies in Fallujah.
The reports indicate that the cadavers are immunized inside special cars to
prevent the spread of the plague until the bodies are buried by their relatives.
"The reports have indicated that a number of those killed in ’Abu Ghraib’
and other prisons were subjected to operations for extracting their organs.
Following their mutilations, the bodies were discarded far from the prisons
to conceal the facts. The reports revealed that that the American forces restricted
the media by force to prevent them from getting near the scenes and recording
the events. But the relatives of the Iraqis are aware of these facts. The reports
have [also] indicated that the military forces of the European allies have
noticed the absence of organs from the cadavers that were dealt with by the
Americans and have reported to their high command, which instructed them to
maintain silence and to avoid the discussion of the subject due to its gravity,
while the military and intelligence high command have written secret reports
about was observed by their forces and sent them to the European ministries
of defense for their information."

Sounds too psychopathic too be true, but then so did Abu Ghraib at first. Mr. Gonzalez has no doubt analyzed the practice in a memo to Rummy and found it legally defensible. Maybe now we can start some new stem cell lines!

= = Apology To The Iraqi People = =
Dear People of Iraq:
Please forgive me for the horrors my political leaders and
their military personnel have brought upon your country and
its people. Myself and others in America witness your pain
daily; we see how the Bush crime family under the cloak of
democracy has brought you only misery and death.
Like myself, there are many Americans here who feel we may
face a very similar fate soon. The destruction of your
homes, the murders and tortures of your men, the rape of
your women, all serve the U.S. military as a practice
session to eventually be used against us here too.
It is common knowledge that George Bush, Dick Cheney,
Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Colin Powell, Condi Rice
and other traitors (quite possibly together with Israel)
helped orchestrate the World Trade Center demolitions on
the morning of Sept 11th, 2001 in New York which killed
thousands of innocent Americans. They then used the
publicized 9/11 event to cultivate support for an invasion
of your country.
The United States has been seized by a group of criminals;
we are helpless against them. The Bush crime family has
enacted far reaching laws (The Patriot Act, etc.) which the
average man doesn’t even realize has robbed him of his
rights. If we protest, if we speak too loudly now against
the government (the President), we can be arrested, perhaps
never to be seen again, sometimes even killed.
Dear Iraqi people, we are not blind; informed Americans
know the U.S. military has orders to seize and secure Iraq
as an oil asset, at any cost. Your country’s heroic
defenders and your innocent citizens are being slaughtered
without mercy, without cause and we can do nothing.
Please forgive us for we are powerless to help you at this
time. We have all been deceived and we are collectively made
unwilling conspirators in these heinous crimes against your
country and your people.
Hopefully, and God willing, the false president
George W. Bush and his murdering gang of global oil mongers
(to whom his father has sold him) will all be held accountable
in a world court for their crimes against humanity and will
suffer their much overdue punishment.

This is preposterous on its face. You CAN’T harvest organs from corpses, because the lack of blood flow kills the organ. No doctors would participate in such a ghoulish enterprise because it would violate their Hypocratic Oath—"First, do no harm." Such stories were also invented by the Soviets about the U.S. doing this in Latin America—kidnapping children for organ removal. The invention of war atrocity stories is as old as warfare, and almost as deadly, since invented atrocities tend to breed real ones in reprisal. Yes, the U.S. is doing terrible things in Iraq, but the Arab World is doing the Iraqis no favors by churning up stories so preposterous that they’re easily dismissed in the U.S. as just another "Arab Conspiracy Theory." Isn’t the truth horrible enough?

Sure you can harvest organs from corpses. Maybe not for transplant purposes, but there are plenty of other commercial and medical research uses for human organs. Anyway it says that we’re "extracting human organs from the dead and wounded, BEFORE THEY ARE PUT TO DEATH, for sale to medical centers in America."
In view of the many other U.S. atrocities coming to light I find it totally credible.
28 December 2004, 03:20
Again, no doctor would remove organs from a wounded man before he was killed. The Chinese
government did this to condemned prisoners to universal outrage. It’s even considered unethical to purchase a kidney from a person for transplant, as the Israelis are doing. You don’t understand how easy it is to generate false atrocity stories during wartime, when people will believe anything.
During WWI an Allied propaganda story was made of the German "Corpse Exploitation Establishment," where the corpses of German soldiers were boiled down to distill glycerine for explosives. The German government condemned this lie as "loathsome and ridiculous," but in vain. In 1925, it was revealed that the head of British military intelligence had started the canard by switching the captions beneath dead German soldiers on their way to burial and dead horses on their way to be rendered for soap. —this according to "THE FIRST CASUALTY: From the Crimea to Vietnam: The War Correspondent as Hero, Propagandist, and Myth Maker," by Phillip Knightley, 1975
How could anyone believe something so preposterous? Because they read it in a newspaper, just like this atrocity story about Iraq was published in newspapers.
28 December 2004, 14:46
Funny thing is though, all these so called rumours and propoganda have so far turned out to be substantiated.
Worse, the authorities in the U.S. turned out to be in full knowledge of many of them, and did everything in their power, to cover them up.
Where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire, I say, and if there are any such allegations being made, they should be thoroughly investigated by neutral umpires.
Hmmmm, too bad the U.S. is on record as murdering reporters in mysterious cercumstances usually where something is amiss.
Now why on earth would anyone do such a thing, if their have done no wrong ???????
You figure it out.
28 December 2004, 23:20
This has a SMOKING GUN—check out the source, memri.org. This is the "Middle East Media Research Institute." What is it? It’s a ZIONIST propaganda organization that translates articles,
etc. from the Arab media. Did the articles appear in Muslim press outlets? Yes. Did Memri translate them and release them because they’re baseless anti-U.S. propaganda that will hurt the enemies of Israel? YOU BET! Can we even trust that Memri’s translations are true to the original content of the articles? What do you think? Bear in mind that this is the same rotten organization that threatened to sue Prof. Juan Cole for exposing them for what they are. Or do you really think that a Zionist organization would have any interest at all in exposing U.S. war crimes in Iraq? If this garbage was true they wouldn’t DARE touch it, because there would be repercussions. Memri isn’t out to discredit the U.S., but the Muslim media that printed this canard! Wake up and smell the coffee.
29 December 2004, 04:40
Why get all excited about it? The U.S. Army is there to kill Iraqis, not save their lives. There is nothing remotely humane about the U.S. occupation so why would anyone expect humane behavior from U.S. medical personnel?
29 December 2004, 07:16
Because then MEMRI will have won. If the anti-war movement starts spouting patently absurd claims like this—"loathsome and ridiculous," as the German government called similar charges leveled against it—then we’re no better than the people we’re trying to stop. We’re just giving them the opportunity to dismiss us as the "Hate America Mob," who’ll believe anything so long as it fits our pistol. What about TRUTH? Are you saying that the U.S. isn’t already committing enough atrocities that we have to start INVENTING them? If so, then let’s at least make them somewhat more believeable than this one. One of the worst effects of fantasies like this is that they tend to bring the real war crimes into DISREPUTE by muddying the water.

This was an illegal invasion of a sovereign nation and slaughter of civilian population out of greed to steal its natural resources.
Back in 1990, the US did not like Iraq reclaiming Kuwait, (which was carved and created from Iraq by the British), even though Madeleine Albright had given Saddam the green light by stating ’’the US has no problem with your claim for Kuwait’’. Stories then appeared about the ’rape’ of Kuwaiti air stewardesses, and Kuwaiti babies thrown out of incubators - later proved to be lies and propaganda to mobilise public support for bombings and sanctions
Atrocities are terrible but happen in every conflict. They are used as propaganda, whether true or not, to mobilise support and can detract from the main issue.
