THE BUSH STRATEGY FOR EXECUTIVE ACTION

(A dismal dirge for a country fallen upon evil times by evil people.)

August 12, 2005

By Peter Fredson

We are soon coming up on a count of 2,000 “brave boys” who have died for Bush lies about oil, bases, embassies, and invasions of other countries. Perhaps the number of American soldiers killed in Iraq will soon match the 3,000 innocent people killed in the 9/11 disaster in New York. In this way Bush will be personally responsible for as many dead bodies as the Al Qaeda bombers accomplished. He must be very proud.

He must be proud of all the wounded and maimed soldiers, except that he keeps secret their arrival to U.S. hospitals, and somehow does not let them talk to the press about their experiences. We are not even sure how many maimed and wounded soldiers have come back from Iraq, or how many have actually died.

We do know that Bush is reluctant to show photos of coffins, much as he is reluctant to show photos of abuse and torture. In fact, he is reluctant to show anything except smirking and big toothy grins that everything is going well in Iraq.

He certainly prates much about how he “returned sovereignty” to Iraq. Does anyone with any sense believe that with 140,000 American soldiers occupying the country, taking over desirable real estate for bases and embassies, and daily demolishing homes and killing Iraqis, that Iraq has “sovereignty?”

Does anyone believe that Iraq people, after exile for years, and brought back to Iraq by Bush, are not puppets? Does anyone believe that Chalabi is truthful, honest, and upright? Really?

Does anyone believe that if the appointed “constitutional” Iraqis asked Bush to leave immediately, that he would smile, say “Sure” and load all his troops on planes and ships? Didn’t the “President” of Afghanistan ask Bush to do something like that? And didn’t Bush simply give him the finger?

Does anyone except a Bush supporter believe that if Bush left Iraq today that the Iraqi patriots would continue to kill Americans and set off bombs for revenge in New York? Does anyone believe the Bush explanation that by killing Muslims in Iraq they won’t come to the U.S. to do revenge?

How many lies will people swallow before they realize they are being suckered by someone without a plan except imperial domination? Like the movie Terminator, he will never give up. He is programmed to go on and on until he falls into some red hot furnace of molten metal.

The cowardly neo-con war hawks, who were reluctant to go on active duty, can get other people to die for them. Like in the Civil War, rich people could pay poor people to go to war as their substitutes. Today the children of neo-cons go to the best colleges, are given the best corporate positions, or have their daddies wrangle commissions for them so they will never have to face bayonets or bullets. They have no concern for Muslim deaths. Life is good.

Bush has gone through five disastrous years with only a few scratches, caused either by pretzels or bicycle spills. Surely he is the anointed of his God, a miracle of sound administration, competent in keeping a nation at peace and harmony, wonderfully diplomatic in bringing warring factions of a country together, and marvelously persuasive in keeping our democracy on an even keel despite great odds, (caused largely by his actions.) See how careful he is to avoid touching the Constitution, unless his firmly held beliefs oblige him to do that.

He has managed (with enormous help) to subvert an entire political party to do his bidding, and is well on his way to subverting the system of justice to do the same. He has bought the complete neo-conservative plan to conquer or dominate the world. He has bought the True Believer plan to assert Christianity as the True Belief dominating all others, requiring the demolition of the Wall of Separation between Church and State.

In this fashion he has united the nation under his and Dick Cheney’s tender attentions. He has accomplished a great feat in appearing heroic in the 9/11 disaster, by mentioning it some thousand times in his speeches designed to distract national attention for what seems like incompetence or deliberate sabotage of the national economy.

Look at the people he chose for his cabinet, against all criticism. Look at the person who wants to destroy the UN being chosen as “Ambassador to the UN.” Look at the hymn-chanting fascist chosen to be his first Attorney-General, who promptly set about destroying the basis for civil liberties.

Look at another legal advisor who told Bush that it was perfectly fine to use torture and abuse, indefinite detention, and to disregard the niceties of conventions. Look at the mealy-mouthed Black Angel of Death, Condi, who spends most of her time threatening other nations because they will not obey her master. Look at the blood-thirsty Rumsfeld who will not hesitate to drop a bunker-buster bomb on any Muslim house. Look at how Colin Powell was turned from a fine presidential candidate into a toadying sycophant willing to misinform for his white master.
Does anyone care to look at the Vice-President, master of evasion and deceit, Lord of the Flies?

Bush has acted the part of an imperial hero, like Julius Caesar, by appearing on an aircraft carrier and declaring MISSION ACCOMPLISHED , when in fact it is still not accomplished. Not by a long shot. See him strut, swagger and smirk, well satisfied that his lies have born glorious fruit to him and his sponsors.

The war, destruction and death, seems to drag on forever, “staying the course” stupidly, while destroying another country, killing people for their oil, and ruining the economy and peace of his own country. Can anyone explain why we would invade another country, destroy it, and then reconstruct it? Seems like going to a lot of trouble for nothing.

Bush boasted of “being a uniter and not a divider,” but that utterance proved to be another of his many lies, much like the slogan “compassionate conservative” showed he had about as much compassion as a Nile crocodile. His boast of “Bring ‘em on” certainly brought many satisfactory deaths to add to his glorious record.

And he further distracted national attention from his actions by inserting comments about emotional issues whenever he was criticized for some fault. There is nothing like gay-bashing to arouse his loyal hordes of True Believers. They respond by wringing hands, shouting hallelujahs, muttering prayers, and crying in dismay at such obscene goings-on that the immortal leader can see no other solution than to change the constitution to match the belief system of whatever denomination is giving him the largest contribution to campaigns.

But he assuages their anger and fear by letting them post their 10 or 20 Commandments in court-houses, while he converts the Oval Office into a kind of chapel for Methodism. While protesting that he does not want to intrude his beliefs on anyone, he then, by executive order, creates National Days of Prayer, or National Read Your Bible Day and in speeches frequently alludes to being chosen by his deity above all others, as a kind of surrogate Savior just waiting for the Apocalypse.

He loves to distract at critical moments by flashing colorful alarms indicating people should be terrified and that he personally, (and perhaps Donald Rumsfeld,) will fully protect them with duct tape and gas masks. Next he will flash the alarm of same-gender marriage, which would disrupt the entire course of civilization, wreck all systems of morals ever invented, and offend whatever gods rule the universe.

If that doesn’t work, (but it always does) then talk about a woman’s right to choose to become pregnant or not. Forbid them to use contraceptives, but to use helpful prayer instead. Force them to have babies who will grow up to be cannon-fodder for the next neo-cons to seize control of the country. And if that doesn’t work, let your True Believers bomb the clinics, kill the doctors and other “providers”, and insist that you are not intruding your beliefs on anyone. That always gets a big applause as long as you pretend that you aren’t intruding any beliefs on anyone.

But always remind women that their god-given role is to have babies, clean up after men, to cook and sew, and give the men sex on demand, missionary style. Then quote bible verses urging them to shut up , tend to the serious business of washing men’s shitty underwear, and let men attend to whatever serious business arises.

Bush exploits flag, patriotism, 9/11, terror, gay-bashing, and religion. Sometimes he exploits several of these simultaneously to the thunderous claquing of sycophants to the tune of the Star Spangled Banner. We would not be amazed to find his underwear has crosses, flags, and brave soldiers embroidered on it. His speech writers spend a great deal of time finding words that appeal to the emotions of the True Believers.

In other words, Bush governs by not governing. He governs by distraction, by inciting terror, by waving flags, by the playing of martial music, by strutting and swaggering, by reciting bible verses, by uttering words like “liberty”, “democracy”, “9/l1” incessantly. By prating about morals. By using the code words of his religious followers. By following instructions of his neo-con supporters, the great corporate executives, the demagoguery of 40,000 televangelist entertainers, and by appealing to base emotions of simple-minded followers.

We know the symbiotic, incestuous relations of Bush to the Republican Party. We know that the Republican Senators would rather have finger-nails ripped out than offend George Bush. He has their number, he has them by the short hairs, and they obey him in lock step regardless of any investigation committee. They laud him, applaud him, and vote whichever way he directs them to vote. The slogan is “We must hang together, or we may hang separately.”

Not a word of criticism has been mentioned by Republican Senators in reference to George Bush. Certainly the word “impeachment” has been studiously avoided, or has aroused nervous laughter. Any charges of abuse or torture by Bush are greeted with bland inattention, with comments about “fraternity pranks,” and by trivializing any serious complaint. But the applauding of whatever stupidity Bush wants is tolling the death bell for American democracy.

The Republican Senators have lost their capacity for independent action, and consequently have lost the confidence of the majority of Americans that believe that Bush is the worst president America has ever had, and presents the greatest danger to democracy of any previous leader. It is of utmost concern to all Americans that the Balance of Powers has been sold to the highest bidders.

All the powers are stacked neatly in the Oval Office desk drawers just awaiting the next round of Bible quotations, the next pronouncements by Condi finding other nation’s conduct ‘unacceptable,” and the next pretext to go to war for glory and maximum profit.

After all, most of the Republican senators and their children are in no physical danger of living in Baghdad and getting a sniper’s bullet in their foreheads. Perhaps Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson would like to stroll around the streets of Fallujah?

Let us prey. Amen

  • Just thought I’d mention— There were 2,000 Americans killed on 911. The other thousand were foreiners. So, if you include american "contractors" killed in Iraq, Bush has caught up with BenLaden in being responsible for American deaths. He jumps way ahead when you consider the thousands maimed for life.

Bush and his buddy BenLaden working hand in hand to bring us Armageddon.

  • First the numbers of dead U.S. troops who have died is many many more than the five sided building reports, they are not counting any who die in hospital in Germany or here from thier wounds! I realy wish the msm would report this. The number of dead Iraqies in "unknowable" and will never be accuratly reported. The number killed by Bush and Co. on 9/11 is closer to 3000 than 2000. And the many deaths caused by this Nazi cabal to keep them Quiet is still unknown, but may come to light one day.
    Welcome to room 101.

  • Bush is under pressure now. Therefore this administration is going to be more desperate for another war. He already declared war on Iran!

    Impeachment now!!!

    • Don’t be morons. Please stop this. Bush is not on some master plan to take over the world. You have no reason to believe that bullshit. He hasn’t declared war on Iran and won’t. This war is about stopping a huge threat to America. This war is about stopping Saddam, terrorists, and ending oppression. Yes, Saddam didn’t have WMDs, but he could’ve gotten them.
"in dealing with Shiites, Kurds, Communists, and other likely regime opponents, the government tended either to provide them with benefits so as to co-opt them into the regime, or to take repressive measures against them. The major instruments for accomplishing this control were the paramilitary and police organizations. Beginning in 1974, Taha Yassin Ramadan, a close associate of Saddam, commanded the People’s Army, which was responsible for internal security. As the Ba’ath Party’s paramilitary, the People’s Army acted as a counterweight against any coup attempts by the regular armed forces. In addition to the People’s Army, the Department of General Intelligence (Mukhabarat) was the most notorious arm of the state security system, feared for its use of torture and assassination. Commanded by Barzan Ibrahim al-Tikriti, Saddam’s younger half-brother. Since 1982, foreign observers believed that this department operated both at home and abroad in their mission to seek out and eliminate perceived opponents of Saddam Hussein. [3]

Saddam’s internal security regime achieved notoriety for its extreme ruthlessness. In 1982, an assassination attempt was mounted against Saddam in the town of Dujail 40 km (25 miles) north of Baghdad. In retaliation, Saddam’s security forces attacked the town, killing and executing up to 160 of its inhabitants, including a number of children. Around 1,500 townspeople were sent to prison and tortured, and the entire town was punished by having 1,000 square kilometres (250,000 acres) of farmland destroyed; replanting was only permitted 10 years later. The events in Dujail became the subject of criminal charges following Saddam’s overthrow in 2003. [4]"

What the hell? Over half of this person’s arguments are flames with nothing behind them. Bush doesn’t go around gay-bashing anyone. Yes, he uses 9/11, patriotism, the flag, and terror to get his ways, but only justifiably so. He uses those as reasons. Would you like us to pretend that 9/11 isn’t a reason?

What the fuck!?! Yeah, I see Bush talking about this all the time on TV... You guys all know about the laws he’s passing restricting women’s rights...

      Yeah... Fucking... Right...

      "
Look at the mealy-mouthed Black Angel of Death, Condi, who spends most of her time threatening other nations because they will not obey her master."

Black Angel of Death... Yeah... I don’t think so.
      She hasn’t threatened anyone...
      That’s not her job.
      "
Look at the blood-thirsty Rumsfeld who will not hesitate to drop a bunker-buster bomb on any Muslim house."
Where the hell did he get that from?

      "
He has bought the complete neo-conservative plan to conquer or dominate the world. "
World domination... ughh... Bush isn’t going around conquering countries. He’s stopping threats and trying to help the world. It’s not his plan. It’s not Dick’s plan. He will never attack Europe or any more countries as much as I know you would all like to see him do so.
      "
Attorney-General, who promptly set about destroying the basis for civil liberties."
Don’t countries in Europe have certain laws that allow the government to override civil liberties under extreme circumstances?

You don’t show those photos because if he did show them, Iraqis would be pissed. And that’s not how you try and persuade a country that you’re trying to help them.

      I saw it. He’s a freakin robot!
      Lies lies everywhere!!!
Bush’s oil companies are going to mine the oil fro Iraq and take it for the U.S. even when U.S. troops leave!
      Yeah yeah!!!!

      ...

I may not know much about Bush or the war. I don’t even like Bush much as a president, but this is going too far. The war in Iraq is not as clear, cut, and dry as you’d all like to think.

    • hey 66.**.9.**,

I’ll be brief, but invite you to respond

Rumsfeld? A war criminal. Evidence? Abu Graib and Guantanamo. I rest my case.

      9/11?

Why did Bush read about goats for 8 or 12 minutes or whatever. If it was a surprise, The secret service would have swept him away, regardless of whether he was concerned about scaring the children.

Why did the Twin Towers and WTC building #7 (which was not struck by an airplane) come all the way straight down to the ground within 90 minutes. In the history of all the skyscraper fires this has never happened.

Why did we never learn who the culprits were that made all that money buying the put options on American Airlines and United Airlines. It is not possible to place those orders anonymously. Somebody knew in advance, and they could easily have been identified

Why did the 9/11 Commision expunge the testimony of Secretary of Dept. of Transportation,Norm Mineta? He was in the "war room" with Cheney on 9/11 before the Pentagon was struck, and his testimony is that they flight was being tracked from at least 60 miles out? He never got to testify about how Cheney responded after the pentagon was hit.

      7/7
Why did AP report that Netanyahu was warned before the strike, then retract it.
Why initial reports say they were high grade military explosives, and then retract it to say, no these chemicals were easil available.
Why did they say that there were timing devices, then there weren’t, even though the explosions underground were nearly simultaneous?
So much for the G8 and all there work on the environment. Nice timing there.

      7/21
Only the detonators go off on all 4 epxlosions. Oh and we renewed the USAPatriot Act that day too, but most people didn’t really notice what with all the terror.

      huh?
George may be out clearing the brush and partying with the president of Colombia, but you can bet the PNAC neocons are hunkered down at the ranch planning the next false flag so they can Nuke Iran, probably this fall

    • All Bush supporters should read the article by Paul Levy; The Madness of George W Bush A Reflection of our collective psyshosis:

    • Reply to 66.**.9.** : If you don’t know much about Bush and the war, then why defend him? If any neighbor of mine that I personally did not of, had been charged with a crime, I wouldn’t make any effort to defend him. I personally don’t have the time to be defending people I don’t know or care about. Apparently you do.

I, on the other hand, am very tired with people like yourself who shoot off both sides of their mouths without a clear thought behind any of their blatherings; so I must respond to your secretions and wipe them off with a harsh stringent. Calling people you disagree with morons, especially if their knowledge of the issue at hand is larger than yours, is the behavior of a 5 year old, or of someone who apparently has all the manners of a pig. Grow the hell up.

If you don’t know much about Bush and the war then how is it that people who do oppose this President and this unjust war, & who evidently know more about this demented President and this godless war than you, how are they the morons, & you’re not, numbnuts?
To be more clear and concise, how is anyone, who has shown more mastery of any subject and material than you, be the mental inferior? Intellectual jealousy, perhaps? Frontal lobe envy? When I am confronted with someone at work who knows a great deal more than me, I call them a brain-trust and try to learn from them. You on the other hand, having a great fear of people with knowldedge or wisdom greater than yours, will label them morons, idiots s**heads, whatever your limited vocabulary can muster, and try to undermine them. Now, really, is that anyway for an intelligent adult to behave? How the staggeringly ignorant survive this harsh world has always been a great mystery to me. There is no greater arrogance than that which comes from willful ignorance.

Your written thoughts reveal you. You are lashing out like a predator caught in a corner, with hardly any clear thought behind any of the words you type, as your mis-fired fingers keep hitting the wrong keypads found on your drool soaked keyboard. You’re a rabid predator we should all should be pitying, really. Are you schizo-frenic as well? Reading your meandering dribble is very much like reading the Unabomber’s ’Manifesto’. Headache inducing, but I have survived worst material. Oh, Sweet Lord, the things we endure in order to understand our staggeringly ignorant fellow citizens. Hey, lobotomite, have you personally read any of the USA Patriot Act at all, scholar of the year? If you’re answer to that question is no, then you’re the moron, buddy. End of story. And be honest, saying you’ve read any portion of this monumental betrayal of American civil rights when you in reality haven’t, well, to say the least, you’ll only be continuing the delusion you’ve been living with for most of your adult life, right? Having faith in lies is a clear sign of a fool.
Next time, be a lot more careful who you call a moron. Negative actions have a great tendency of boomeranging back to you in this life. Witness this godless war.

    • The mystery of 9/11? Its another Whodunit and as the Great Detective would have said"Its quite elementary my dear Watson. He who stood to benefit by the crime must be the perpetrator! " Or as Deep Throat said: Follow the money!
I was greatly surprised when Bush as an aftemath of 9/11 ordered more warplanes to be buildt. Will he really go after a small group of terrorists with fighterplanes? Rather expensive and futile I thought. I could not believe it then, but then came the war against Iraq and it all made sense. Whoever had their savings in munition stocks or fighterplane factories must have made a lot of money.
One thing is for sure. The muslims, individuals and countries, did not benefit from the crime. Thousands have lost everything, including their life. On the face of it Osama bin Laden and al Quaeda has not benefited from 9/11 either. Rather the opposite. Unless, of course, he has been holed up in a CIA safe-house in Arizona these last 4 years!
      Sherlock.

    • "Reply to 66.**.9.** : If you don’t know much about Bush and the war, then why defend him?"
I don’t like Bush all that much, but I’ll still defend him against people who dislike him for the wrong reasons. I wish to prevent ignorance.
      "
Calling people you disagree with morons, especially if their knowledge of the issue at hand is larger than yours, is the behavior of a 5 year old, or of someone who apparently has all the manners of a pig. Grow the hell up."
You’re the one lashing out. You might as well be calling me a moron right now. It fits your attitude.
      "
whatever your limited vocabulary can muster,"
I have a problem coming up with the right words, many people have that problem. It’s just the way I work. I don’t take much interest in using big words. And, I just can’t.
      "
You are lashing out like a predator caught in a corner, "
On most forums I argue against people that like Bush. I am in no corner. I was lashing out because I was angry at people not understanding and making assumptions. Yes, I make assumptions too, but I’m never sure about them.
      :
t time, be a lot more careful who you call a moron. "
I shouldn’t have said that. But it wouldn’t matter to me if it was someone else instead of you who had come upon what I wrote.

Your whole post is you lashing out at me. Why should I believe anything you have to say? I won’t, you know. Just because I’m lashing out I must be some sort of idiot, right? No. You’re the one who’s lashing out right back at me. You attack me with no evidence. Instead of attacking me, you should try attacking my arguments.

I’m not going to believe that everyone who calls someone else a moron is one because you say so. I’ve talked to many people who use that word, many of which I thought were very smart.

I am a child though. Well, I’m 18, but I act like a child. I did with that post anyway. I was tired and stupid.
      "
You on the other hand, having a great fear of people with knowledge or wisdom greater than yours,"
That article is a joke. Most of the article’s arguments are based on wordplay. I was attacking that. I don’t know a lot about the war. And a little of what I said may be wrong. But I do know that the article is making up shit.

Bush is not on a mad quest to take over the world. He won’t be president for long. America barely has the capacity to attack another country, let alone the world. Bush and his administration are not evil people who hate everyone.

People can assume everything they see in that article is correct. Or they can question it like me. It’s not that hard.

Don’t bother wasting your time with me, honestly.

    • I don’t care what your opinion is about Georgw W Bush, it is irrelevant to me personally, but I will say this: George W Bush can stand at his podium with a Bible in each hand, one under each arm, and his anal muscle streatched around a fifth, he is not a Christian, no Lucifer Cult worshiping asshole Skull and Bones initiate is a Christian, they can make all the pretence and fool some people like the so-called idiot Christian Right, and deep down they know better also. You cannot serve two masters. If your master is Lucifer you do not serve Jesus. its that simple. And another thing, I am eighty one years of age, I saw Hitler and his thugs come to power in Germany, and I don’t care what dress you put on a Nazi, a Nazi is a Nazi whether he wears a uniform or a pin strip suit, they are all the same. Bush and his Neo Con thugs are Nazis. Ameeica now has the same cancer growing in its midst that destroyed Germany, and make no mistake about it, it wlll destroy America, you can take that to the bank.

  • The Caligastia timeline is coming to a close, the olden prophets spoke of the massive deception that will be utilized by the Dark Lodge just prior to closing the Caligastia timeline. It seems to me that Bush is the current representative of the Dark Lodge, metaphorically predicted as the "angel of the bottomless pit" most likely Daligastia the first assistant of Caligastia, both are currently incarnated in the planets timeline. Bush seems to be filling the same role for this era as Hitler did for Nazi Germany. Caligastia and Daligastia have been the leaders of the Dark lodge on this planet for two hundred thousand years, in fact they founded the Dark lodge on this planet about two hundred thousand years ago. The "end of time" the olden prophets spoke of, really means the end of this current Planetary Prince’s time line. The Caligastia timeline has been in effect for approximately five hundred thousand years, the Planetary rebellion occurred some two hundred thousand years ago, thus the beginning of the dark lodge’s rule on this planet. The good news is that this timeline is being cloed out, the bad news is that the next few years will be troublesome times. For those who would like to read the history of Caligastia and Daligastia, there is a brief history in papers 66 and 67 of the "Urantia Book".

    • Mass consciousness is a powerful thing, when the mass consciousness of a country swings to the negative side it always produces a despotic government. Leaders of countries are created by the mass consciousness of the population. We created George W Bush in our own negative image, and we will continue to produce despotic leaders as long as we hold to the idea promoting of materialistic greed to drive the nation.

    • Bush is just the grandson of Reaganstein. God took all of the worst aspects of Regan and morphed them into Bushco, the worst nightmare to date. While America sleeps in front of their t.v.s, the monster gobbled up their freedoms, rights, economy, and morals.......we can only pray that God will reconsider and call Bush "home" to sit in the chair that used to be Jesus’s the peace lover that God has disowned.

    • I saw something on the internet possably written by a fundamentalist preacher who said he had identified the Antichrist, his name was Nicoli Bushanus. Does anyone wish to comment on this?

  • A society of sheep will in time begat a government of wolves. I believe this was a quote of Bertrand de Juvenal. One can say this another way: If a certain political group wishes to create a government of wolves the surest way to do this is to first create a society of sheep. Preferably a society of sheep who will blindly stay in their religious pens. America, so it seems to me, has now arrived at such a status. To you Bush supporters I wish to say this: "The Caligastia Timeline is coming to its closing time, and the bed that you create is the bed that you will sleep in." (fig. speech) It is my view that Bush and his Neo-Con henchmen are selling your country down the river to the moguls of the New World Order in the hope of creating a global Nazi Germany, and I believe you should think long and hard about anymore support for this fruitless and barren Bush administration and its Republican Party horse that it rode in on. No rudiment of the old Planetary Timeline is to be carried forward to a New Timeline, think about it!
