THREE YEARS OF INVASION HAVE TURNED IRAQ INTO CHAOS

Wars and conflicts International USA

Three years after the invasion of Iraq have turned Iraq into chaos. We may look to what has happened through the following:-
1- The war on Iraq was raged against the will of the UN and its Security Council .
2- The reasons for the war, like weapons of mass destruction and relation with Al-Qaida, have proved to be false and even fabricated and has lead Mr Pual to step down Shamefully.
3- The claim that the war will save the Iraqi people from the dictator regime has put the Iraqis in the hands of so many dictators like Mr Premer, followed by Mr Negroponty, and lately Mr Zelmay Zadeha , who did and doing in Iraq any thing that Mr Bush administration wanted. Most of the new Iraqi politicians are no less than small dictators who will grow up when they will receive enough power.
4- The slogan of installing democracy proved to be a mirage, The Iraqis are not experiencing real democracy since the politicians brought by the American administration are doing what they like to do whether it is lawful or not. The Iraqis are seeking peace and secure towns.
5- The invasion has destructed the infrastructure of Iraq, and after three years only very little has been done to rebuild Iraq. One example, Iraq has importing refined oil products since the invasion while it was exporting such products during the embargo !. Through such imports a handful of new Iraqi politicians are making huge amounts of money which are exceeding the corruption in the UN Oil-Food agreement.
6- As regard the unity of Iraq, Mr Bush administration has been doing its best to disintegrate the Iraqi people. It has encouraged every religious and ethnic minority to be as an independent group that should have some sort of self government. Such behavior is utterly unacceptable, since the USA people have the most diverse ethnic and religious origins, yet that administration speaks of a unified American nation. The policy of Mr Bush administration in Iraq has paved the road for a civil war and yet it is still encouraging the start of such war. Mr Ramsfield declared in March that his troops will not intervene in civil war between the Iraqis. This sounds as a green light for those to start such a war. This situation reminds us of the statement of the American ambassador in Baghdad who told President Saddam in July 1990 that his conflict with Kuwait is a regional issue which do not bother USA !. That statement, which paved the way the Iraqi army to go into Kuwait, have led to the tragedic problems in the region for the last 16 years !.
7- The invasion has destructed one of the largest armies in the region, then it was followed by Mr Bremer resolution of the Iraqi army. The USA troops encouraged some Iraqis and foreign looters to demolish Iraqi military bases. Many of USA officers took part in these looting. Three years later the rebuilt army is only a small fraction of the former one and it is unable to keep peace in towns nor to safeguard the borders. The most dangerous point is that the new army is based on either political, ethnic or religious groupings. Hence its disintegration may begin at any time. I wonder if such rules are used or allowed in the USA army. Yet Mr Bush is claiming that he is helping in rebuilding the Iraqi army !.
8- The war against Iraq was based on the slogan of providing human rights for the Iraqis, but it turns to bring no more than the abuses of the Abu-Graib prison and the killing of Iraqi civilians by USA troops. USA troops in Iraq can easily kill any Iraqi just for the suspicion of being insurgent. Bombings and destructions of large number of houses and towns have been performed by the USA troops in the last 3 years. Falluja town has massively raided twice where a large number of civilians have been killed and most of its houses have destroyed. The forbidden weapon of white phosphor was used by the USA troops to establish the Mr Bush model for human rights !. As a matter of fact the invasion has killed ( estimated number exceeds 200,000 ) from the Iraqis much more than Saddam did !.
9- The USA secretary of state has declared recently that Mr Bush administration has committed thousands of mistakes in Iraq. Obviously, the Iraqis were the victims of those mistakes. Most of the Iraqis believe that those mistakes were deliberately made to eradicate political opponents keep the Iraqi government as weak as possible so that USA influence stays in Iraq for much longer time. It is the NEW WAY OF COLONIZATION !!.
