The "Expedient Exaggeration" Bush Administration Lies

Wars and conflicts International Governments USA
The Bush Administration defends it’s lies.
THE WAR: We didn’t lie,we just overestated the facts to insure safety for the US people.
SADDAM/bin LADEN CONNECTION: We didn’t lie. At one time our PNAC folks found out that bin Laden knew a guy who was married to the gardener of the brother-in-law of Saddam’s uncle.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: Not a lie by any means.Bush was told that we had "sort of" chased some terrorists away with helicopters, and that the first part of our hundred part "mission" was therefore "accomplished"
BUSH SURPRISE THANKSGIVING VISIT: The turkey may have been plastic (Bush couldn’t lift a heavy one), but the visit was actually a surprise to the cooks!
TOPPLING OF THE SADDAM STATUE: So what if it wasn’t spontaneous? It was effectively done by Chalabi’s group and made a statement. The Press was too dumb not to report the truth! That’s not our fault!
MS.LYNCH’S DARING MARINE RESCUE: We didn’t lie. Marines DID go into the hospital and take her out. Can we help it if no enemy forces were there? It still takes guts to run into an empty building (they could have shot their eyes out!) Besides that, we needed some good propaganda.
TILLMAN’S DEATH: He DID die in the line of duty. He WAS brave. It takes nerve to run into the line of fire when fellow soldiers may resent you. Again, we needed good reportage. And got it!
KATRINA HANDLING: President Bush DID care about a group of poor blacks who always vote against him. Give him a break! He DID get around to going down to Nawleens, but first things first,eh? He needed the guitar photo op. That helps him raise more GOP money. The Nawleeners won’t help him raise a penny...and money always comes first in this world, right?...right?
Stay tuned for more sensible explanations.

Yes, and Bush never lies, Condi never lies, Cheney never lies, Rumsfeld never lies, Wolfowitz never lies, Rove never lies, Trent Lott never lies, Trist, Hastert, Warner, DeLay never lie.
They are all true blue honest upright citizens just trying teir best to protect and defend our Constitution, and someday they may speak out against injustice, civil outrages, spitting on the Constitution, reveal everything about the neocon and fundamentalist crusade to bring democracy, liberty, sovereignty to Iraq.
Our troops went to Iraq to help them against tyranny. We are still helping against tyranny, and will do so for many years and will spend countless billions in teaching Iraqis about civilization and reconstructing all the inadvertent damage that somebody caused to the roads, bridges, factories, houses, palaces, streets.
We don’t know who did all the dirty damage, caused all the deaths, all the degradation, all the destruction but some day we might find out. Our leaders are upright, honest, steadfast, honorable, straight-shooters, seekers of justice and truth, champions of the poor and afflicted. Our President is a wonderful competent trustworthy leader with clear vision of democracy and liberty that will bring this nation back to the ideals of the 1500’s, with true morality, honor and justice.
Perhaps, at the pig-farm in Crawford, pigs do fly, and grunt contentedly at being fed swill until they get fat and happy. And perhaps all the brush will finally be cleared and we can get on with ou lives.

And maybe one day the average American will get his head out of his backside and realise that he, in his indolence and apathy, has been the reason that America is now the most hated nation in the world, bar none. But I wouldn’t hold my breath, if I were you...
