The desecration of the Holly Quraan by USA troops

The issue of desecrating the holly Quraan by USA soldiers in Quantanamo prison is of a major concern to the muslim world . This incident reveals the attitude of the new conservative politicians in the US and shows how they look to the muslim symbols.

Whether the Newsweek journal declines or retards from certifying its former report, it should be asked , how a reputable journal can publish a report before it takes all measures to be sure that it is true ?. One explanation to last declaration of the Newsweek journal , can be the pressure or possible threats exerted on it by the USA administration. ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union ) officials said recently that, the newly declassified documents provide new evidence that U.S. authorities at Guantanamo Bay were mistreating symbols of the detainees’ religious beliefs as a tactic to force them to talk. "The United States government continues to turn a blind eye to mounting evidence of widespread abuses of detainees held in its custody," said ACLU Executive Director Anthony D. Romero.

Large numbers of the USA troops have shown disgusting behavior towards the Iraqis. These cases have been manifested:-
1. The abuses committed in the Abu-Graib prison, where many types of torture and even raping of prisoners have conducted. Those abuses were authentificated by more than 1200 photos.
2. Some soldiers have documented their criminal acts by photographs. The attached photo, which is only one example among hundreds, shows one USA soldier who is acknowledging two crimes. These were the killing of an innocent civilian and the raping of his daughter. In spite of these two major crimes, the soldier is proud of his crimes and he is seen laughing.
3. The second photo shows a group of USA troops desecrating a mosque with their shoes after they have stormed that mosque in Al-Ramady town.

Looking to these two examples we can say that if the American soldiers can do these, they can easily desecrate the holy Quraan.

Since the event of 11 Sept, the Bush administration has been relating all violent events in the world to Muslims and Islam religion and not to the injustice and oppression committed in the Muslims world. Therefore, the USA troops have been living among a media that accuses Islam and Muslims of bad deeds thus provoking aggressive action towards the symbols of Islam.

  • The only desecrating of the Koran is being done by the islamofascists. They follow orders to make up stories about Koran abuse. These muslim thugs would desecrate their own holy book by using it as part of a pack of lies. And what do other muslims do? They believe it hook, line, and sinker. They don’t bother to give the stories any thought for credibility. This adds to why americans hate muslims. It’s becoming a long list.

    • You mean the Crusaders weren’t desecrating the Bible a thousand years ago, when they massacred Muslims, Christians, Jews, and anyone else who happened to get in front of their weapons while they were rampaging and pillaging? I ask this as a practicing Christian who is not afraid to look at the history of his own religion.

    • Judging from what you have to say, you say you are a christian but what you are really is a dhimmi. First of all your understanding of what happened 1000 years ago is skewed and lacks wholistic context, you need to go back to school. Second, what is your point of bringing up what happened 1000 years ago? Are you saying that because in your view the Crusaders acted terribly that islamofascists today should be excused? You are an idiot.

  • Islam means "unity" and depending on context "peace". It doesn’t mean, "the submission to the will of God". The latter description has been made part of the grand belief of the Islamic creed by the British when they re-interperted the religion for the ignorant Muslims of the 18th century of the Near East. I say this only for background.

    This belief in a "unity" is with the creed’s diety on a personal level and slowly expands to find unity with fellow humans and eventually with all of creation. It is rather difficult to describe in a short post the unuversal nature of this "unity" that Muslims feel. But suffice it to say that within this comprehensive matrix is the belief of these people with their book [having God’s words and all that.]

    It is this binding that causes Muslims to feel hurt when they hear of their book being maltreated.

    But as with all organized religious belief systems distortions occur and Muslims tend to forget another parts of their teachings. A true, pure Muslim would remember these elements of the Islamic faith and find no hurt or anger when a Quran is destroyed or maltreated — for at this point of focus, the diety is in charge and is all seeing; the responsibility of the maltreated Quran lies with the person doing the desecration.

    So, it can be argued that the Muslims who killed and became angered are guilty of the sin of forgetting that their diety is allowing it to occur. To extend this anger and say that the anger and deaths are the will of Allah is ever more disingenous and a further disconnect.

    It would be interesting to hear from Muslims to my post. I would like to know more and refine my understanding of their faith in regards to the latter points I make.

    • I condemn all ill treatment of prisoners and this war.

      BUT the Quaran is not holy. There is only one Lord and God. The Bible states very clearly if anyone denies Jesus is He, than they are anti-christs and do not believe the truth, doesn’t matter if they are Jew, Arab, English, etc. Teachers that are trying to teach they are the same are abmonations and to be avoided.

    • And Santa Calus is that kindly fat man with a red suit that lives in the North Pole and flies around in a sleigh pulled by raindeer from house to house climbing down chimneys to leave presents under the Christmas tree. And then there is the Easter Bunny that magically lays eggs that are all colored and nice, hidden in the tall grass for the children to find....you probably believe that shit too huh?
