This is your brain on Rumsfeld

Imagine waking up to a world where power corrupts, drug smugglers are imprisoned and drug companies are rewarded. Under the taliban in Afghanistan, poppy fields were reduced by 98%, they burned them. They wanted to be accepted in the international community, so they burned them. How about that 2%? Well, that was just the farmers who were living in the controlled sections of the Northern Alliance...you remember, US allies. It’s interesting to note, that not only are the poppy fields back, but they’re back and stronger then ever. But don’t take my word for it, here’s what Rumsfeld has said: (keep in mind, we know that drugs are a main source of income for terrorists)

Aug 2004:

"The danger that a large drug trade poses to Afghanistan is too serious to be ignored," Rumsfeld said, adding that once large sums of money from the drug trade filter into a country’s economic and political system, "the inevitable result is to corrupt governments and the way of life."

Then a few days later he says:

"It’s a problem that there are a lot of people who want it, a lot of people with money who will pay for it, a lot of people who will steal from others to pay for it." As for Afghanistan, Rumsfeld said, "You ask what we’re going to do and the answer is I don’t really know."

But he knew in March 2004?:

Drug-running operations originating in Afghanistan also are a concern in Kazakhstan. Rumsfeld said the coalition is working on the problem, and Afghanistan is nearing the point at which its government will be able to do more about it.

“The crop year in Afghanistan in every respect was a good one,” Rumsfeld said. “That’s a good thing generally for food; it’s a bad thing when it’s also a good crop year for drugs. The coalition countries, under the leadership of the United States, are working with the government of Afghanistan to deal with the drug problem and the drug flow out of Afghanistan and into Europe.”

What we have here is, an administration willing to say whatever it takes to legitimize their own inaccuracies about the drug trade in Afghanistan(amongst countless other things). Rumsfeld will contradict his own statements, even if it makes him look like he’s using the same drugs he’s talking about.

This is your brain on Rumsfeld, any questions?

  • Regarding: This is your brain on Rumsfeld, and the statement that drugs are a major source of funding for the terrorists. True, but you must also keep in mind that drugs are a major source of funding for the CIA, and money laundering is a major part of corporate American business and presumably world business. See Mike Ruppert, From the Wilderness (http://www.fromthewilderness.com/) for details. Buy his earthquake of a book:
Crossing the Rubicon: The Decline of the American Empire at the End of the Age of Oil.
    From the book blurb:

"This is a detective story that gets to the innermost core of the 9/11 attacks. It places 9/11 at the center of a desperate new America, created by specific, named individuals in preparation for Peak Oil: an economic crisis like nothing the world has ever seen.

The attacks of September 11th, 2001 were accomplished through an amazing orchestration of logistics and personnel. Crossing the Rubicon discovers and identifies the key suspects and persons of interest - finding some of them in the highest echelons of American government - by showing how they acted in concert to guarantee that the attacks occurred and produced the desired result.

After two and a half years of research and writing, Ruppert said:

"In my new book I will be making several key points:

    1. I will name Vice President Richard Cheney as the prime suspect in the mass murders of 9/11 and will establish that, not only was he a planner in the attacks, but also that on the day of the attacks he was running a completely separate Command, Control and Communications system which was superceding any orders being issued by the FAA, the Pentagon, or the White House Situation Room;

    2. I will establish conclusively that in May of 2001, by presidential order, Richard Cheney was put in direct command and control of all wargame and field exercise training and scheduling through several agencies, especially FEMA. This also extended to all of the conflicting and overlapping NORAD drills — some involving hijack simulations — taking place on that day.

    3. I will also demonstrate that the TRIPOD II exercise being set up on Sept. 10th in Manhattan was directly connected to Cheney’s role in the above.

    4. I will also prove conclusively that a number of public officials, at the national and New York City levels, including then-Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, were aware that flight 175 was en route to lower Manhattan for 20 minutes and did nothing to order the evacuation of, or warn the occupants of the South Tower. One military officer was forced to leave his post in the middle of the attacks and place a private call to his brother - who worked at the WTC - warning him to get out. That was because no other part of the system was taking action.

    5. I will also show that the Israeli and British governments acted as partners with the highest levels of the American government to help in the preparation and, very possibly, the actual execution of the attacks."

    • Yes, you are absolutely correct, please read my other opinion pieces at my blog.

This opinion/article was solely based on the contradictions of Rumsfeld. Ruppert can explain the drug trade much better, in fact he does so in his video "the truth and lies of 9/11", which predates his newest book. I am establishing, based on currently readily available information, that Donald Rumsfeld...is purposefully lying...in order to advance the agenda of his administration. You will note that I put the part about terrorist in there as a side note, strictly for those reading who do not realize that the "war on terror", is a sham. How else do you explain Rumsfelds contradictions in 6 months?(stupidity or ???) Also, you will note that I do make a connection between, the US/Norther Alliance/Drug trade and the increase since the US has taken over. The opinion is less about the drug trade, but more about Rumsfeld and his attempts at telling the public he’s "fighting the drug trade"(which he is not). His obvious certaintity about "what to do" and his same contradictions imply: a)he is incompetent, b)he is lying, or c)he’s trying to cover something up. This is why the article is titled, "TIYBOR"...and not "Cia drug trafficking".(Ruppert already established this years ago, my article is based on that information and used in another context, perhaps I didn’t make that clear.)
