Al Qaeda is not and never has been a "terrorist organization."
"Al-Qaida,(sic) literally ’the database,’ was originally the computer file of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians," admits former British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook, whose Foreign Office portfolio included control of British Intelligence Agency MI-6 and the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), in a column published by the UK Guardian newspaper. For people of faith who trusted in this administration
11 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
This note is for people of faith (belief without evidence) who are waking up to the excruciating reality that this time, when they did place their faith in an administration who they thought were looking out for what was right and in their interest, they ended up being manipulated and exploited. They gave their lives and families for megalomanical madmen who couldn’t care less about the same people who gave them their trust, hard earned money, and blood.
It is not too late to stem the (…) -

The Bert and Ernie relationship seems evil according to Internet research. Tinky Wink is evil according to Jerry Falwell. Now even Sponge Square Pants Bob is evil according to True Believer Christians.
When an entertainer at a football game showed about 2 square inches of nipple, over 180,000 True Believer Christians pronounced it as immeasurably evil. A quick peek at mammary tissue deserved a $200,000 fine by government (…) -

Let me try to sort-out Americans. They are said to be divided beyond reconciliation. Evidently many people believe that George W. Bush is a hero, an “evil-smasher”, a fighter for democracy and civil rights, an all-around Good Guy, chosen by God Himself. Others believe he is a smirking, swaggering, petulant, irresponsible, impulsive, impatient and aggressive bully who is a front for the many Neoconservatives and True Believer (…) -

Last night on CNN I heard them making a connection between the London bombings and an “Islamic terrorist” website called alneda.com. I tried to view the website but it’s been taken offline. I did find the following three year old reference to alneda.com on CNN:
From: http://archives.cnn.com/2002/WORLD/meast/06/24/binladen.video/
"These statements and others from al Qaeda have been appearing from time to time on a Web site called www.alneda.com.

A look in the mirror for America
10 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentIN HIS INITIAL reaction yesterday to the London transit bombings, President Bush decried ’’people killing innocent people." He said: ’’The contrast couldn’t be clearer between the intentions and the hearts of those of us who care deeply about human rights and human liberty and those who kill — those who have got such evil in their heart that they will take the lives of innocent folks."
This came a week and a half after Bush invoked the innocent in his Fort Bragg, N.C., speech in an attempt (…) -
Please Don’t Go Back to Sleep
10 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
5 commentsDear America: I am longing to reach you — crossing this river of indifference and consumption and denial. I am trying to find you, reaching out through the desperate limitations of words and descriptions, swimming through the rhetoric of terror and God.
I need you to wake up. The house is on fire and you are still sleeping, lulled by the intoxication of smoke and mirrors. I need you to wake up and I know that shaking you, scaring you will only make you cling to your sleep and sleep more. (…)
