WE ARE THE DEAD: A Personal Message to the Washington Elite

We are the dead.

We are every man, woman and child who has perished by violence, disease, accident or natural causes since our country was invaded and occupied by the powerful and invinceable Coalition armies of shock and awe.

We’ve been bombed, sniped, beaten and tortured. We’ve suffered from chemical and depleted uranium poisoning...and our progeny,too, who otherwise would have had chances at a meaningful and constructive lives, will also suffer, if in fact they survive.

We are also Coalition and US troops,plus contractors from all points of the globe who came for duty, for glory or for profit. Any way you cut it, we’re still dead.

All of this horror was avoidable. The whole world knows that now, all except for the nitwits and idiot political and religious ideologues in Britain and the U.S. who perpetrated a grand hegemonic agenda and sold it to a gullible public with relative ease!

There are close to a million of us, and that figure doesn’t count the tens of thousands of physicallly and mentally maimed or destroyed by the ghastly destructive power of Bush’s pointless war.

We now cast our accusations at Washington in particular, and at the so-called "leadership" specifically.

You are the definitive dead. Dead in heart, dead in mind,and dead in soul.

WE have found our rest, but YOU, with the blood of countless beings on your hands... must perish eventually, and will never find the peace of innocence which you no doubt believe you deserve.
