It’s a grand old hoax Full of daggers and cloaks One the press may forever supress When the towers fell They did not dwell On why George remained in that class Or how they came straight down All the way to the ground Just as if the demo was planned The evidence does not support The story they told this land
For the next surprise That was greeting our eyes Saw the pentagon burning in flames The key to our defense Breached without (…) -

8 August 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
By Julie Hyland
The admission that army special forces were involved in the police execution of Brazilian Jean Charles de Menezes confirms that the techniques perfected in the dirty war conducted by British imperialism in Northern Ireland are now being employed on the streets of Britain.
The Guardian reported August 4 that “a new army special forces regiment was involved in the operation” that resulted in de Menezes being killed with eight bullets, seven to the head, in a London subway (…) -

During the build-up to the illegal invasion of Iraq, some, particularly in the foreign media, accused Bush of wanting war simply for the sake of war
Prologue
As I was researching and preparing notes for this article, the bombings in London occurred. In the wake of these tragic events, I became outraged by the number of right-wing warmongers in America who callously exploited these attacks in a vacuous attempt to justify the Bush (…) -

3 commentsTony Blair and George Bush have "far more blood on their hands" than the terrorists who carried out the London tube bombings, George Galloway said today.
Mr Galloway, Respect MP for Bethnal Green, said that the attacks on the capital by Islamic extremists could not be separated from the invasion of Iraq and Britain’s treatment of the Muslim world.
He said that the "al-Qaida phenomenon" had arisen directly as a result of western policies in the Middle East.
Mr Galloway had already (…) -

Suggested Chant for Antiwar Demonstrations, from Michael P. Wright

In the 1960s, this was a popular chant for antiwar demonstrations against U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson:
"Hey, hey, LBJ.
How many kids did you kill today?"
In alignment with this tradition, I suggest the current similar chant for today’s antiwar demonstrations. The chant addresses George W. Bush:
"Excuse me, GWB.
How many coffins will there be?"

Iraq War Veteran Tells the Truth about Bush’s War
7 August 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
5 commentsWe now know most of the information given to us by the current Administration concerning Iraq, if not all the information, was false. This was information given to the American people to justify a war.
The information about weapons of mass destruction and a link to Osama Bin Laden scared the American people into supporting the war in Iraq.
They presented an atmosphere of intimidation that suggested if we did not act immediately there was the possibility of another ! attack. Bush said (…)
