FREEDOM FOR THE IRAQI OFFICERS
This is the 4th day of the military mission against the Ninavah Province (400Km north of Baghdad). The army of the Maliky government has arrested of 150 officers of the former Iraqi army. These men have no crime but they happen to participate in the Iraq-Iran war more than 20 years ago. Their arrest are not based on court ruling, nor it came after any accusations.

US dockworkers’ union holds eight-hour work stoppage to protest Iraq war

The International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) carried out an eight-hour work stoppage at West Coast ports on May 1 to demand an end to the war in Iraq.

’Free Tibet’ flags made in China

Police in southern China have discovered a factory manufacturing Free Tibet flags, media reports say.
The factory in Guangdong had been completing overseas orders for the flag of the Tibetan government-in-exile.
Workers said they thought they were just making colourful flags and did not realise their meaning.
But then some of them saw TV images of protesters holding the emblem and they alerted the authorities, according to Hong Kong’s Ming Pao newspaper.
