Why a One World Government makes perfect sense - The Concept of a Pan-World - Fair World Order

One of the things I find reassuring today is the fact that one meets more and more people who have achieved a certain degree of wisdom. Yes, even scientists and materialists are beginning to be a little more prudent, a little more reasonable. They no longer presume to lay down the law with such self-assurance or to greet every hypothesis that does not conform exactly to their own view with derision and scepticism. Only a few years ago the world most often on their lips when they were faced with something new was ’Impossible!’ But now they are beginning to acknowledge that nature may still have some surprises up her sleeve - even for them - and as they are more cautious. They say, ’Well, it is possible... We do not know... We must wait and see.’ At last they are acquiring a little wisdom; at last there is some hope. Yes, and I can go even further and say that only a few years hence they will all adopt our ideas and speak our language....

  • You are very wrong to suggest that the solutions to the world’s problems lie in a World Government. What do you think Globalization will bring?
The concluding phase to the world’s so-called economic globalization will entail the establishment of a world government of the worst kind, a totalitarian dystopia not even Orwell would have imagined.

What do you think the necons want?
Why, they want the world and they want it now. A world government run by neocons, i.e neo-fascists, will also make the world a prison planet. Look at what they have done to the US constitution inside of six years. Look at their incessant wiretapping of one of the world’s largest nation-states. Is that what you want, a prison planet?

It’s all fine and dandy to think that the world will magically attain an utopian state when it is controlled by one giant enormous state, but you must think this through: who will write the bylaws and constitution of this world government?
The people of the world or those tiny few who control its wealth and resources?

    • Yes,I too went to the link to read about what the author seemed to think was a *new* idea a "universal brother/sister/hood", which obviously is as old as humanity itself. It is not that citizens would reject any type of VOLUNTARY working together to achieve a common good, rather it is that many reject a FORCED totalitarian DICTATORSHIP that is being forced on the world under the guise of "globalization" or even "cooperation" and ran by tyrants that have historically proven over and over they seek their OWN wealth and power over ALL at the detriment of others.

It is quite biologically natural to be concerned with the preservation of one’s self and immediate family, friends, etc, but the problem comes when we love the power and money MORE than we care for the neighbor, so that it causes us to do severe harm to neighbor in order to get "ahead".

Having a "world government" that allowed a "Democratic" type representation could be acceptable if it could be arranged so that it wasn’t abusive and wasn’t allowed to trample on the LIBERTY of The Few always in the so called name of the ’common good’. Let’s remember that is the oldest excuse in the book to take away Liberty saying that it is in the best interest of the ’common good’ when in fact it is being used to simply enrich and give power to a SELECT few Elitists at the top of the economic structure posing as someone who cares for the masses. Whether it is so called "communism" or "socialism" or even "capitalism" it is IMO rather the ABUSE of the system, of the unethical and immoral behavior by those who run such systems, that often causes the most problems rather than NECESSARILY intrinsically the "system" itself.

And too, when power is concentrated into FEWER hands such as "world government" by a FEW, it allows the hijacking of The Many to be much easier. What I think we want to see is for power to be distributed among the MANY as far as is possible so that it CAN’T be as easily hijacked.

      POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
