Dear Ms. Pelosi and Mr. Conyers,
I am writing this open letter to you both on the day after Veteran’s Day. A day that has so much more meaning to me since my son Casey was KIA in Iraq for absolutely no reason but to line the pockets of the war machine. I cried in front of his symbolic tombstone at Arlington Northeast in Philadelphia and I dreamed of him before I awakened. Casey’s "tombstone" was planted in the ground directly across from Liberty Hall which was the birth place of our (…)

My email to Tim Russert of NBC’s Meet the Press
12 November 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
4 commentsDear Mr. Russert and Producers of Meet the Press:
With John McCain and Joe Lieberman as your guests on this Sunday’s Meet the Press, you have proven just how completely out of touch you are with the American public. And, this is on the heels of a monumental repudiation of the Republican party and a nationwide victory by Democrats.
Why wasn’t Nancy Pelosi on your show? Harry Reid? Russ Feingold? John Conyers? The voters of America have spoken loud and clear. The leadership of President (…) -

It has been reported that James Carville would like to replace Howard Dean with Harold Ford Jr. to head the Democratic National Committee, in which he said "Suppose Harold Ford became chairman of the DNC? How much more money do you think we could raise? Just think of the difference it could make in one day. Now probably Harold Ford wants to stay in Tennessee. I just appointed (…) -

FRANCE 2005: November 10/11/12, 2006 — WMR has obtained purposely cryptic e-mail sent by U.S. intelligence assets to a French government official in July 2005 accurately warning of the infiltration of French immigrant groups by neo-con intelligence assets trained in the United States to foment rioting in the largely Muslim immigrant banlieus of Paris in November 2005. Can any impeachment of Bush stand up to the rule of law with a changed Constitution?

5 commentsCan any impeachment of Bush stand up to the rule of law with a changed Constitution? By Mary MacElveen November 11, 2006
While some polls are beginning to ask Americans how they feel concerning the impeachment of President Bush as evident in this MSNBC poll, much should be taken into account before we even think of said proceedings. I will get to that in a bit.
I was heartened to see that 87% felt in relation to this question “Yes, between the secret spying, the deceptions leading to (…) -
A Return To Reality
10 November 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
by Wayne Besen
In the very week Saddam Hussein was sentenced to hang, George W. Bush has found his presidency in the gallows. Hussein now awaits his fate as a dead duck, while Bush will usher in his final two years as a lame duck. How bitterly ironic it must be that the Democratic landslide victory was fueled on outrage over the quagmire in Iraq and the president’s refusal to "change the course" even after the facts repeatedly changed on the ground. This is more a victory for reality than (…) -

Cheney and Rumsfeld are on the outs. Scowcroft, Baker and Gates are in. Can they get America out of Iraq?
WEB EXCLUSIVE COMMENTARY By Howard Fineman Newsweek Updated: 5:11 p.m. ET Nov. 8, 2006
Nov. 8, 2006 - President George W. Bush’s Iraq policy is now in the political equivalent of receivership-a bankrupt project that is about to be placed in the hands of the worldly-wise pragmatists who surrounded the president’s own father. Think of them as receivers in bankruptcy, looking for ways (…)
