I’ve been reading about this "grass roots" phenomenon that’s sweeping the country. It must not have "swept" down this far, because I scoured the prairies and plains of Oklahoma, and the only thing I came up with was a clump or two of Johnson grass, a few scraggly buffalo and some errant loco weed...
In fact, there’s not much movement of any kind in Tom Joad Country. Maybe that’s because Oklahoma has always been, or at least has had the reputation of being, not only poor (…)

[NWO is Mind Control thru Info-Chaos]
26 June 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
The New World Order power is based on the manipulation the human psyche through information that is generated in their primary mind control mediums. These mediums are arranged along the lines of populist based mind control religions that place spiritual beliefs in the realm of a political containment of government support of nation state soverienty which is nothing more than a call \"indirectly to protect the financial private property and money control of the elite ruling elements of each (…)

The Bikeway Concept - An Open Proposal To American Metropolises...

1 commentThe dual battles of energy consumption and physical fitness in the face of today’s extreme travel times and computerized office work are both extremely difficult to tackle. This was not lost on me as I was riding home on a train delayed by hours because of a hazardous materials spill on the tracks between my fellow passengers and I and home.
Most days on the train, everyone rides all stern-faced and silent, absorbed in their computer screens, Ipods, Walkman, magazines, books, and (…) -
You can’t go home again
26 June 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentThere’s endless talk these days, and it’s escalating as November approaches....about bringing home our troops. A noble dream, but those who advocate it don’t venture a thought beyond that simple and heartfelt phrase. In fact, "home" may not mean home at all, but just a shift down to Kuwait for a spell or up to Afghanistan to relieve the tired fighters of the Taliban who are making a comeback there.
Or...
The troops may go off to Turkey or Germany or any number of other overseas bases. (…) -
Neocons Are Not Fascists, They’re Worse
25 June 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsNeocons Are Not Fascists, They’re Worse Many critics of the current Administration are drawing parallels to Fascism. But the neoconservative movement now ruling America’s government is a distinct departure from any previous Administration, and though, at times, followers may use tactics that are fascistic, the movement is more ominous than Fascism. This movement was constructed mainly by intellectuals and civilians who were not and are not elected officials. Never before in American history (…)

From Kansas To South Carolina, Republican Moderates Turning Their Backs On The Neocons & Defecting

2 commentsFrom Kansas To South Carolina, Republican Moderates Are Turning Their Backs On The Neocons And Defecting To The Enemy Paul Harris in Topeka, Kansas Sunday June 25, 2006
The squat, bunker-like building in a south Topeka suburb does not look like a place to turn American politics on its head. Nor does Mark Parkinson, a tall, affable man, look too much like a revolutionary. But here, deep in the American heartland, are the warning signs of a political earthquake. The two-storey office block (…) -
Party Favor

Party Favor Tom Knapp Thursday, June 22, 2006 A number of Libertarians have expressed interest in moving a resolution for the impeachment of President Bush and Vice-President Cheney at the Libertarian Party’s upcoming national convention in Portland, Oregon. Of course, in order for a resolution to be moved, it first must be written. Here’s my initial proposal (which has not, as of this writing, been adopted for promotion by any group):
Whereas, George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney have (…) -

GOP Abandons Our Military (Again), Appeases Barbaric Insurgents Posted by SusanUnPC Wednesday, 21 June 2006 at 14:22
Astonishingly — especially after the "U.S. Says 2 Bodies Retrieved in Iraq Were Brutalized" — Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fla.), concerned that Sen. John Warner (R-Va.) wants to appease the Iraqi government — had to bring a resolution (S. 2766, On the Amendment S. Amdt. 4265) to the Senate floor yesterday to "express the sense of Congress that the Government of Iraq should not (…) -
The Impenetrable Fog Of Bill O’Reilly

1 commentThe Impenetrable Fog Of Bill O’Reilly By Don Wycliff June 22, 2006 If intellectual dishonesty could be said to have a face, I saw it Tuesday evening as I watched Bill O’Reilly’s program on Fox News.
I watched without the benefit of sound—if any was coming from the television it couldn’t be heard over the din in the bar where I was in Mishawaka, Ind. But Fox conveniently runs a stripped-down text next to O’Reilly’s image as he delivers his opening commentary. And there was, in addition, (…) -
