I have heard but one viable solution to the Iraq War Debacle, from the same source that has steadfastly offered thought out solutions to virtually all our country’s problems. Why on earth don’t we get behind the man? He IS our voice, near as I can tell.
:::::::: The boogey man is back! Killer Karl has through some Black Magic escaped what we thought was Patrick Fitzgerald’s crosshairs and instinct for bagging truth. Now on the loose, Killer Karl pounds his chest and roars: “See the (…)

Classic Right Wing Responses

Someone (it wasn’t Elvis) once said "There are none so blind as those who will not see"
********************************
I have a really good Conservative friend who has a good mind except when it comes to politics, and then his mind tends to freeze, his eyes glaze and all reasoning goes out the window. Here, in nutshells, are some of his typical responses to assertions made by me againt the Bush administration.
Cheney is a war profiteer and has a terrible voting record in the Senate. (…) -
American Gods

12 commentsAmerican Gods By Anwaar Hussain June 19, 2006 Notwithstanding the fact that Aristotle said a long time back that “the gods too are fond of a joke," and there were no American gods then but now there are, we the hadjis of the world need to understand that, like all gods, the American gods too are fond of a joke. Notwithstanding the fact that the term “hadji” is used by American forces in Iraq as the word “gook” was for Vietnamese, to signify the subhuman scum of the earth, and that the (…)

Veterans Affairs Loses Records

1 commentVeterans Affairs Loses Records Analysis By Mike Hudson June 20, 2006 For nearly five years, we’ve heard ad nauseam about the stepped-up security that’s made America safer in the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks. Security, security, security. It’s like a Bush administration mantra, repeated over and over again by Condi Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney and Bush himself.
They even created the federal Department of Homeland Security.
So it was a little surprising to get a letter - as many (…) -
Rep. Murtha Speaks Truth To Power

1 commentRep. Murtha Speaks Truth To Power By Bill Gallagher June 20, 2006 Detroit - At least the battle lines are drawn and clear. It’s Jack Murtha vs. Karl Rove. They are the front men who represent the moral and political choices the American people will make in the 2006 elections.
Pennsylvania congressman Murtha is an authentic and sincere man who knows the horrors of war firsthand. The former Marine put his own life at risk in Vietnam, where he was wounded and decorated. Murtha is calling (…) -

There’s A Way Around The Electoral College Conundrum By HENRY N. STAHL JR. 6/19/2006 Since the early 1800s, about 500 proposals to amend the Constitution in regard to the presidential election process have been put forth. Recent Gallup polls indicate that up to 75 percent of the American electorate is displeased with the Electoral College method of selecting our chief executive. With our president pontificating the world over about the importance of democratic elections, it seems rather (…)

Here is a URL for the music, should you wish to listen. www.advancedbreastcancer.org/twelfthofnever.mid ) YOU ASK HOW LONG WE’LL BE THERE, MUST I EXPLAIN?
