To Impeach or not to Impeach-That shouldn’t even be a question!
22 May 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentTo anyone who has read the Constitution and and has any sort of need for justice, it has become blatatly obvious that the only way to uphold our Constitution and stop these criminals with sinister intentions is to Impeach Bush and Cheney immediately to stop them from committing any more atrocities, looting the treasury and prevent them from being in charge during any more national emergencies. 22 May 2006 par (Open-Publishing)

How the Right Stole the ’60s (And Why We Should Get Them Back)
22 May 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentConservatives are winning the battle over how the 1960s are remembered. But their version is far from the truth.
By Astra Taylor
It wasn’t until I got to college that I heard that the 1960s had "failed" and that all the Baby Boomers went straight and sold out.
Yet such sweeping proclamations never quite rung true. Those weren’t the people I knew when I was a kid: the aging organic farmers, the people living on and running a commune founded long before I was born, the self-sacrificing (…) -
A Little Fascism Still Goes a Long Way
22 May 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
By Greg Moses
On the stock-market channel Friday afternoon, just before commercial time, comes news that the Senate of the USA has declared Inglés the “national language†of state. Then comes the commercial, cutting to a Chinese couple standing in a busy airport, somewhat startled by a youngish white man who rushes up to them and says “welcome to America†in Chinese. “I practiced all morning,†says the gleamy-eyed realtor. “I hope you understand. Welcome to America!†The (…) -
Inspiration
21 May 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.

2 commentsAustralian Prime Minister Howard is touring the world carrying a message of blind loyalty to the Bush Administration and unrelenting support ("stay the course") for the criminal Bush Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
