U.S. Court rules Warner Brothers studios had illegally claimed copyright to Superman. They did not own the copyright. Now the family of the Superman
comic book artist gets to take all those millions away from WB. And to think the U.S. Government was one sided in its copyright enforcement. Only doing the bidding for the Big Studios. Therefore breaking the law and acting as agents of organized crime. Shame.

A long-lost original cut of the 1927 silent film "Metropolis" found in an Argentine film museum was shown to journalists for the first time. The cut reveals some the extent of director Fritz Lang’s original vision.
The celluloid of the German classic was in private hands for 80 years and then was in the Museum of Cinema in Buenos Aires where it was discovered in April with never before seen scratched images.
Museum director Paula Felix-Didier said theirs is the only copy of (…) -

CANNES — Mexican actor Ruben Sosa, who appears in the illegal immigrant drama "Los Bastardos" directed by Amat Escalante, had a hard time crossing France’s border to attend yesterday’s Certain Regard screening.
Sosa was stopped by customs at Nice airport Monday and subjected to multiple searches before being tailed to Cannes by police who did not believe he was in a movie here, (…) -
