Omissions In the Iraq Study Group Report - by Stephen Lendman
Noted historian Eric Foner in a December 7 article on OpEd News.com calls George Bush "the worst president in US history....(who) in his first six years in office....managed to combine the lapses of leadership, misguided policies and abuse of power of his failed predecessors." Equally noted historian Gabriel Kolko agrees, and along with his other comments, calls the Bush administration "the worst set of incompetents ever to (…)

Impeach Bushco, Save Lives: Open-ended March on DC begins Jan 3rd
14 December 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentThere must be hundreds, if not thousands of anti-bush bloggers… why can’t we all work together? Anti-war patriots need to stop following cointelpro ‘leaders’ and start organizing our own actions.
Wouldn’t it be cool if every one of them put up a “March on DC to Impeach” banner. Haven’t you had enough of the Saturday afternoon protests that go nowhere? Who organizes a march when Congress isn’t even in town?
And this time, we’ll have none of that Nixon waving goodbye bullshit, we demand an (…) -
The Night Before Christmas (in the White House)
13 December 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
’Twas the night before Christmas, and in the White House George Bush was worrying, that slimey fould louse! The Cheney’s were present, and contrators too wheeling and dealing with war plans anew!
The "Twins" were out partying, absent from beds zonked out on booze, not a thing in their heads. Mama Beads and old Pappy, those two full of cr*p had Barney and Beasely ensconsed in their lap.
Then out on the lawn there arose a huge chatter Bush dropped his comic to see what’s the matter Away to (…) -
What We The People Should Do
12 December 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
Mike Rivero at www.WhatReallyHappened.com is exactly right.
What we should do is gather in DC when the new Congress meets and tell them flat out that WE THE PEOPLE refuse to allow anything else to be done until the liars who tricked us into war are impeached, removed from office, and tried for war crimes.
We The People sent the new Congress to DC with a clear mandate. REMIND THEM OF THAT. Practice snarling now. Make a point of opposing any new legislation, no matter what it is. Stop (…) -
War Continues for "Bush’s Ego"? My Rear End!

With all due respect, I can not stand the Paul Craig Roberts "limited hangout" that posits that we are still in Iraq (and Afghanistan for that matter) due to One Man’s Ego. Nor can I stand the implication that there was any "mistake" at all about Iraq (or Afghanistan, while we’re at it). The United States wanted to get into Iraq and Afghanistan and control their oil resources long before 9/11 even happened.
Let’s state the (…) -
McKinney on Conyers investigations "they say they aren’t even going to issue subpoenas.”
10 December 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
3 commentsWill other members of congress support the action Congresswoman McKinney has brought forth?
At the table in what could be considered her impeachment “war room” the question is brought up a number of times.
Mike, an advisor to McKinney, mentions, “Conyers was supposed to have investigations. They were chomping at the bit 6 months ago to do subpoenas.”
McKinney quietly replies, “Now they say they aren’t even going to issue subpoenas.”
Looking up from her papers she takes a deep breath, (…) -
Congresswoman McKinney Speaks Up for Majority of Americans
10 December 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
3 commentsCongresswoman Cynthia McKinney has introduced articles of impeachment against George Bush, Dick Cheney, and Condoleezza Rice. In doing so, she alone has spoken for the 51 percent of Americans who Newsweek says want Bush impeached. A considerably higher percentage of Americans would, if asked, almost certainly acknowledge that the abuses with which McKinney charges Bush et al. have, in fact, been committed by them and are impeachable offenses. That is to say, there are those who recognize (…)

Letter open of the Collective Dom to Mr. Jacques Chirac, president of the Republic

le 8 décembre 2006
With Mr Jacques Chirac,
President of the Republic,
Large Master of the national Order of the Legion of Honor
Mr. President of the Republic,
France, definitely, seems to have lost some reference marks and there would be, in our opinion, urgency which you recall to our compatriots fundamental principles of the Republic.
An organizer of television, Mr. Pascal Sevran, being believed obviously above our laws, has just affirmed publicly and cynically not only its (…) -
SOME SIMPLE QUESTIONS TO ASK BUSH
8 December 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
4 commentsSOME SIMPLE QUESTIONS By Peter Fredson December 8, 2006
I still have some simple questions to help untangle a complicated web of misdirection, misinformation, deception, propaganda, and untruths that were spun by the disastrous Bush administration. Although several administration-controlled “investigations” brought out some of the architecture of this web, I am not at all satisfied that we got at any simple truth.
We need more “Deep Throats”, a few courageous senators, and some honest (…) -

The Spirit of Democracy in Venezuela - by Stephen Lendman
"Today we gave another lesson in dignity to the imperialists, it is another defeat for the empire of Mr. Danger....another defeat for the devil. We will never be a colony of the US again....Long live the socialist revolution....Destiny has been written....Socialism is human. Socialism is love." This is how Hugo Chavez Frias characterized his smashing electoral victory on December 3 when he appeared on the balcony of the Palacio de (…)
