The former head of AIPAC , Steve Rosen , has claimed in a filing issued with the federal court trying his case that former NSC advisor Condoleezza Rice leaked classified information to AIPAC superstar’ Rosen .........Did she actually leak this data or is Rosen trying to save his ass ?........ I have no idea as to the truth or falsity of the charge.......... I can tell you that one of AIPAC’s self-confessed moles in the Pentagon , Col. Larry Franklin, was emboldened to allegedly transfer (…)

April 22, 2006
I watched two actors strut on stage yesterday in Los Angeles. Arnold Schwartzenegger and George W. Bush appeared for the purpose of bolstering up faltering popularity polls, and pumping for pet projects. Arnold wanted state levees rebuilt quickly and George wanted desperately to be liked again. George went back to his Education President disguise while simultaneously seeming to do something about high gasoline prices.
You may say what (…) -

2 commentsIt wasn’t two seconds after it was discosed that King George had authorised Dick Cheney and Scooter Libby to leak portions of a super-secret Oct. 2002 National Intelligence Estimate to reporter’ Judith Miller than all the legal commentators swooped down- in full protective mode - insisting that , of course , the president ( dicktator ) had the legal authority to declassify classified information......... THEY LIED........... AGAIN ........... (…)

5 commentsThere will always be among us a debauched pundit class - slimy minions who unconditionally support the Bush government against charges of involvement in the 9/11 attacks ......... Most of these clowns also contend the Bushies did not lie us into war against Iraq.... And that domestic spying did not violate the Fourth Ammendment of the United States Constitution.......... They are professional liars.......... Bereft of any evidence to support their contention that so called 9/11 (…)

How very different are the Chinese and the American governments.
Each is extreme in their political philosophy.
The Chinese censor everything and watch dissidents like hawks. As a result the people are cowed and distrustful of their leaders.
The Americans, on the other hand, have "freedom", and don’t officially censor anything except intelligence matters. Instead they just thumb their noses at the people, who, as a result, are distrustful of their leadeers.
The results in the final (…) -

4 commentsYou would think from the apparently conflicting news reports that there is a deep division in the Blair cabinet as there appears to be in Washington about whether or not to conduct a military strike against Iran. In an interview last Sunday, Blair assured us that British forces would not be involved in such an attack. But questioned in parliament a few days later he gave Bush support for an attack. Giving him support, of course, is not the same thing as involving UK troops. And not involving (…)

Thursday , April 20, 2006, By Dana Blanton
NEW YORK - More Americans disapprove than approve of how George W. Bush, Donald Rumsfeld and Congress are doing their jobs, while a majority approves of Condoleezza Rice. President Bush’s approval hits a record low of 33 percent this week, clearly damaged by sinking support among Republicans.
Opinions are sharply divided on whether Rumsfeld should resign as secretary of defense. In (…) -

Hope and challenge in Bolivia Will Evo Morales end neoliberalism?
TOM LEWIS reporting from Bolivia
WINNING THE presidential election in Bolivia last December with an impressive 54 percent of the vote, Evo Morales joined Luis Inácio “Lula” da Silva (Brazil), Hugo Chávez (Venezuela), Tabaré Vásquez (Uruguay), Alejandro Toledo (Peru), and Néstor Kirchner (Argentina) as part of Latin America’s electoral backlash against neoliberalism.1 Morales, an Aymara (…)
