WASHINGTON - Several parents of soldiers killed in Iraq visited Capitol Hill on Wednesday to ask for congressional hearings on the Downing Street memo, which one mother called President Bush’s “Watergate.”
Critics say the document, which contains minutes from a meeting in July 2002 between British Prime Minister Tony Blair and top aides, shows that Bush was determined to go to war with Iraq and ignored evidence (…)

The "Bullshit Protector" flaps are a great way to protect yourself from GOP or punditry bullshit and spin, when spewed by the likes of George W. Bush, Rush Limbaugh, or even your local home-grown GOP wingnuts. It was inspired by Bill Moyer, a 73 year old vet, who was seen wearing "Bullshit Protector" flaps over his ears while Bush addressed the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Donelly Idaho.

In the days of Yore, ships were made of wood and sea captains were made of iron resolve. Navigation depended upon maps, charts, instruments, depth-soundings, and reading the stars, sun, waves, sea birds, winds, clouds and many other factors. Before sailing out on the wide ocean a destination was chosen and a course was laid out to reach the destination. A helmsman took the rudder to follow a predetermined course. The ship’s compass was (…) -

Pat Robertson, friend of Bush, can not be taken seriously in his remarks inciting assassins, because he has a history of wacky quotes. The same is true for Sun Myung Moon, who was crowned king by Americas top "Able Danger" intelligence snoop, Curt Weldon, in a federal building. Unfortunately the "Just point and Laugh" attitude makes them invisible and of no consequence although Pat and Moon, beginning in the (…) -

Republican "Christian" broadcaster Pat Robertson has suggested that the U.S. government should assassinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez!
Pat Robertson told viewers of his "The 700 Club" show that "We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability" and that "We don’t need another $200 billion war to get rid of one strong-arm dictator. It’s a whole lot easier to have some of (…) -

Just yesterday in his broadcast on the 700 Club Reverend Pat Robertson called for the assassination of President Hugo Chavez who is the President of Venezuela.
I find this outrageous coming from an alleged man of God.
I find this equally outrageous that a man who believes in the sanctity of all human life would call for this.
By calling for a world leader’s assassination, this proves that he is NOT PRO LIFE, but part of the sick machine that has taken hold of our (…) -

1 commentOn November 30 2004 Gail Davidson, co-chair of Lawyers against the War (LAW), filed an Informational Brief in the Provincial Court of B.C. charging George W. Bush as President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Armed Forces with torture.
When Davidson went to court on December 6th to secure a date for a process hearing, the Attorney General applied to declare the information a nullity on the grounds that, as head of state, Mr. Bush was immune from prosecution. In an (…)
