Christians spreading the truth about September 11th
It was an inside job, and allowed to happen as a pretext to get the people behind the war.
(San Diego, CA) A book titled, "The Resistance Manifesto" (ISBN: 0967346630) has just been published from a world wide network of Christians exposing the September 11th inside job, government prior knowledge, and the Bush family’s involvement in the attacks. Bold statements, backed by declassified documents, memos, and mainstream news reports, all (…)

Rep Maurice Hinchey: This Congress has ’failed completely’ to oversee the White House
27 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
3 commentsThis country in my opinion is facing one of the most critical moments in our history. The idea that a President of the United States may have misled the Congress and the American people with regard to war is the most flagrant example of bad leadership and irresponsibility and corruption that one could imagine in a democratic republic such as ours. So what is being done today I think is incredibly important and I am deeply indebted to you, Mr. Conyers, for allowing it to happen or making it (…)

Long before 9/11 or the invasion of Iraq, George W. Bush’s biographer Mickey Herskowitz quoted the presidential candidate as saying, "One of the keys to being a great leader is to be seen as a Commander-in-chief. My father had all this political capital built up when he drove the Iraqis out of Kuwait and he wasted it." And: "If I have a chance to invade, if I had that much capital, I’m not going to waste it."

Bush=Milosevich?
26 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
6 commentsThe more I see and hear, the more this war in Iraq appears to be a form of "ethnic cleansing", although it’s not portrayed as such. When I hear the words related to "democracy" and "freedom" used by this gang/cult in the white house, I now think "torture, imprisonment, intimidation, and tyranny" by this administration. Thousands upon thousands of innocent Iraqis’ lives are being snuffed out. These are not "insurgents". These people were like you and me- farmers, policemen, teachers, (…)

Bush is Not an American
26 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
4 commentsSome of the die-hard, rabid right-wingers who still support George W. Bush’s immoral and illegal actions tried recently to overload my email system by flooding it with bitches and moans over recent columns about their poster boy for destruction of the Constitution.
Their grand plan didn’t work. My anti-spam filter caught most of them because it quite properly considers GOP-generated mail spam (as it does for Democratic-generated mail).
The handful of messages that got through cried about (…) -
Train Wreck of the Week

In three votes the Senate, unable to reach a consensus on how much to spend, rejected proposals to increase the Homeland Security Department’s budget for mass transit and rail by amounts from $100 million to $1.4 billion. It finally voted 96 to 1 to adopt a $31.9 billion spending plan for Fatherland Security in the 2006 budget, which is preposterous. There is little if no terrorist threat in America.
By next June the British plan to cut their forces in Iraq from 8,500 to 3,000 at the same (…) -

Former Agents Criticize Bush Over CIA Leak
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush’s failure to take action against a top aide involved in the outing of a covert CIA operative sends the wrong message’’ overseas, former U.S. intelligence officials said on Friday.

Blair spends thousands on make-up
24 July 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
5 commentsPrime Minister Tony Blair has spent more than £1,800 of taxpayers’ money on cosmetics and make-up artists since coming into office, it has emerged.
Between 1999 and 2005 Downing Street paid £1,050.22 for cosmetics for Mr Blair’s media appearances.
Another £791.20 was spent over the past two years on make-up artists.
But this seems modest compared with Irish premier Bertie Ahern, who is reported to have spent more than £115,000 on his appearance since 1997.

Hundreds of people were turned away today as capacity crowds packed public forums in U.S. cities to discuss the Downing Street Memo and related evidence that President Bush lied about the reasons for war. Halls were filled to capacity and beyond in LA, Oakland, Seattle, Detroit, Northampton, New York, and elsewhere, for events led by Congress Members, including Maxine Waters, Barbara Lee, Jim (…)
