    What the Hell is Congress doing? Government lying and corruption has been exposed like never before and Congress is still naming Post Offices! After the ground-breaking Downing Street Memo Hearing last month- Bush and Cheney should be under full investigation if not behind bars by now.

    I’m certainly happy that George W. Bush and Karl Rove are not Democrats. If they were, just imagine the mess this country would be in right now, even worse than the mess it is in.
    First, there would be cries of "treason" directed at Mr. Rove from the Republican ranks. Some of the more overheated members of Congress would demand that he be taken immediately out back of the Capitol and shot by a firing squad.

    The misinformation being spread in the media about the Plame affair is alarming and damaging to the long-term security interests of the United States. Republicans’ talking points are trying to savage Joe Wilson and, by implication, his wife, Valerie Plame, as liars. That is the truly big lie.
    Plame was an undercover operations officer until outed in the press by Robert Novak. Novak’s column was not an isolated attack. It was in fact part of a coordinated, orchestrated smear that we now (…)

    In my last column I recommended impeachment of Bush as a first step toward repairing the damage we have done to Iraq. Since then Al Qaeda terrorists have attacked London and been swiftly identified with professionalism and civic smoothness by British law-enforcement, and Karl Rove has been revealed as the one who betrayed a CIA professional to punish her husband for criticizing Bush’s war on Iraq.
