by Matthias Chang
Global Research, December 13, 2008 FutureFastForward.com - 2008-12-12
A few weeks ago, I warned in my website that the Dow would dive below 7,000 at the earliest by end of December 2008 and at the latest by the end of the first quarter 2009.
Any responsible central banker would want to control a downturn, preferably by a gradual slide of (…)

Behind the debate over remaking U.S. financial policy will be a debate over who’s to blame. It’s crucial to get the history right, writes a Nobel-laureate economist, identifying five key mistakes—under Reagan, Clinton, and Bush II—and one national delusion.
There will come a moment when the most urgent threats posed by the credit crisis have eased and the larger task before us will be to chart (…) -
Dear President Obama

"Dear Senator Obama:
I’m concerned that you’ve yet to show a grasp of Middle East realities. Nor have you provided a broad critique of US policy in that region beyond your early opposition to the invasion of Iraq. This lapse is dispiriting to we who had hoped your “change” mantra meant you intended to reverse the neo-con drive for global hegemony.
If you do grasp Middle Eastern realities, your choices of advisors and cabinet members suggest that you are aligning yourself (…) -

Karachi—The Indian Government referring to Mumbai carnage is acting like the Israeli tyrants, blaming for their own failure to Pakistan which is struggling with the same elements of terrorism and rogue groups.
What the people of India have to address and realize is the treatment of the Muslim communities in Gujrat and many areas, let alone their terrorism inflicted upon the innocent guard less Kashmiris. One would love to see the same people who are so easily (…) -

Rawalpindi—Former Inter-Services-Inetlligence chief Hamid Gul on Sunday dismissed as “nonsense” reports that Pakistan has agreed to arrest and hand him over to India in connection with the probe into the Mumbai terror attacks.
“It is nonsense, it is disinformation because (Secretary of State) Condoleezza Rice and America want my name to be included,” Gul told a private Indian channel from Rawalpindi.
He was reacting to a Washington Post report that said Pakistan has agreed to a 48-hour (…) -

The New York Times is reporting an "apparent evolution" in president-elect Barack Obama’s thinking on Iraq, citing recent statements about his plan to keep a "residual force" in the country and his pledge to "listen to the recommendations of my commanders" as Obama prepares to assume actual command of U.S. forces.

The mentor and sponsor of former CIA director George Tenet has been David Boren, a U.S. Senator from Oklahoma. He was elected to three terms. Boren resigned from the Senate in 1994, with two years remaining on the third term. The year earlier he was being outed as queer in the gay press and also accused of sexually harassing his male staff members. For examples of gay publications with this information, see this youtube video (…) -
The agenda that threatens Canada: Two telltale speeches by Stephen Harper

I have written, at length, about Harper and his Conservatives in the past so I will refrain from regurgitating that information. For those interested, the articles are available at the end of this post .
What is happening right now in Canada is not about the technicalities of the game, but about the way Harper is conducting himself. From him conveniently forgetting to mention to Canadians that in 2004, he tried to form a coalition government with the support of the NDP and the Bloc (…) -
