Perhaps if Mr. Bush had been more involved during his time of military service, he would have a better appreciation for the hardships endured by military families. When the president threatens our loved ones by forcing them past the point of human endurance, military families will not remain silent. Most military families know the war and occupation of Iraq is a violation of the military core values that we teach American soldiers and sailors. The supporters of this war repeatedly attempt (…)

Picking Up the Pieces
2 May 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
At the end of the third Reich as Russian armies surrounded Berlin and the Allies were approaching from the west both Herman Goering and Hienrich Himmler were both plotting to supplant Hitler. Was it power mad insanity? Were they such poor students of history? Did they not know that any leader that takes over after losing a war will have a tough time of it? At best he will have to face an angry constituency asking pointed questions and at worst face the hangman’s noose. I use the example of (…)

More Show Trials in Blair’s Corrupt Britannia
1 May 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
Blair’s grey old, Ahrimanic Britain is becoming a place of regular show trials, the kind which befits the totalitarian state which it has become, particularly in the last ten years of his neocon brand of fascism.
Today, on evidence that a decade ago would have been thrown out as circumstantial, the latest in Blair’s show trials ended with five Muslims being convicted of a bomb plot conspiracy. These days the judges know better than to challenge politicians. The politicization of the (…) -

Congress should deliver the war supplemental bill in a flag-draped coffin By Mary MacElveen April 29, 2007
On Tuesday which is the fourth anniversary of President Bush’s ‘Mission Accomplished’ speech, the $120 billion war supplemental bill is scheduled to be delivered to President Bush’s desk. On that day four years ago, in self-serving pageantry, President Bush flew onto the U.S.S. Lincoln in a fighter jet wearing a uniform he had no business wearing. In learning today that nine (…) -
Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich impeachment against Cheney
26 April 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsApril 25, 2007 — After being lulled into the morning corporate media hype concerning Vice President Dick Cheney’s trip to George Washington Hospital for a routine check up on his blood clot in his leg, and, perhaps with a bit of prodding from the weak-kneed House Democratic leadership, Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich postponed yesterday’s noon press conference where he was to introduce three articles of impeachment against Cheney. Kucinich delayed until 5:00 pm the press conference on his (…)

Color Codes, Duct Tape, Propaganda, Corporationism, and Smirks DON’T HELP
26 April 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
The basis for the global mind control program of the modern elite is in the charade mind control program of so called "terrorism". Although be sure that desperate economic situations create a breeding ground for contempt, violence, and the on going cycle of violence - the source of the so called poor mans war of "terrorism" is rooted in the structure and operational technique of maximizing profits while using the media a system of mind control to generate social consent of the opressed and (…)

THE MEN WHO OWN AMERICA...GROSS HYPOCRISY
25 April 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentThis won’t be a long winded article, but just a friendly reminder of who it is that runs our country, where their loyalties lie, and just how outrageously hypocritical they are.
It’s no secret that the men (and one woman) who own are rule America, are said to be patriotic ideologues whose only objectives are noble and high minded.
They want an America with a smaller government, free trade, and preemptive strike options against countries "seen" as enemies to alter regimes deemed (…) -

Rumsfeld: Why bomb Afghanistan? Iraq has much better targets!
Condi: Who could have imagined planes being used as weapons?...and...We don’t want a smoking gun to become a mushroom cloud...or (at a hearing) I believe the memo said "bin Laden threatens to attack US"
Colin Powell: Iraq has weapons of mass destruction which threaten their neighbors and our country.
Tom Ridge: (Homeland Security Chief) The color code actually wasn’t very successful. (…) -
Every time I think I find hope, it gets dashed.
21 April 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentWatching Keith Olbermann tonight, I learned that Karl Rove said something nauseatingly dishonest when asked about the decision to go to war in Iraq. When asked whose idea it was to launch a preemptive war in Iraq, Rove replied - and I’m not making this up - "I think it was Osama bin Laden’s."
OK. I wish that I had made that one up, but I can’t honestly say that it really surprised me. Rove has revealed, time after time, that he has absolutely no scruples when it comes to pushing his point (…)
