THE secrets of a subterranean factory engaged in the manufacture of Israeli nuclear weapons have been uncovered by The Sunday Times Insight team.

No to nuclear power
27 August 2008 par (Open-Publishing)
This article is in response to Will Marshall ’s comments on National Public Radio’s (91.7 FM) Evening Edition ( August 26, 2008 ) on nuclear power that were wrong from top to bottom. He claims that it is green. However, fossil fuels and therefore, carbon dioxide production, are required for the mining, milling, and transport of uranium and for the construction, operation, and eventual decommissioning of nuclear power plants. When the richer uranium mines are used up, the poor ones remaining (…)

1 comment"On April 26, 1986, a reactor at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in the Ukrainian city of Pripyat exploded and began spewing radioactive smoke and gas. Firemen discovered that no amount of water could extinguish the blaze. More than 40,000 residents in the immediate area were exposed to fallout 100 times greater than that from the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan. But the most serious nuclear accident in history had only begun." (frif.com)

After Dick Cheney’s visit Saudi Arabia and Israel prepare for Nuclear War
7 April 2008 par (Open-Publishing)
Dick Cheney wrapped up his tour of the Middle East last week and it appears that he has accomplished his main objective: to prepare his allies for the proliferation of war.
While the general consensus from most news sources is that “Cheney has not made meaningful headway”, reading between the lines tells a different story. The misinterpretation of what Mr. Cheney’s mission has accomplished begins with the assumption that the vice president of the United States, representing those in (…) -
Former senior military officials : "NATO must prepare to launch nuclear attack"
27 January 2008 par (Open-Publishing)
Global Research, January 22, 2008 The Telegraph (U.K.)
Nato must prepare to launch pre-emptive nuclear attacks to ward off the use of weapons of mass destruction by its enemies, a group of former senior military officials has warned.
Calling for a major change to Nato’s approach to defending its members and their interests, the authors of the report, which has been handed to Nato and Pentagon chiefs, said the first-strike use of nuclear weapons was a "indispensable instrument".
