Delegates from USA, Russia, Lebanon, Palestine, Turkey, Bahrain, Canada, Germany, France, Bangladesh, Nepal and India adopted the following document as the Declaration of the International Anti-imperialist Conference held at Calcutta on November 27-29, 2007.
The world is passing through a very critical phase in human history. In the name of globalization the capitalist class has brought down most murderous attacks, vicious persecution, and ruthless exploitation on the working masses. The (…)

IRAQ-Looking Back: ’INTERNATIONALLY SPONSOREDS GENOCIDE, by Felicity ARBUTHNOT
27 December 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
Editors have a mantra, do not look back, move on, write what is current. But sometimes looking back is vital. Those who ignore even the recent past are doomed to understand nothing, sink deeper into quagmires - and bleat again : ’Why do they hate us’ ?
Looking through material for the book that has been far too long in the making, I found a copy of a letter which I sent to a prominent (UK) Member of Parliament. It is dated November 1993 and clarifies for ever why the invaders were never (…) -
A Peace-killing Linkage, De-linkage

Linking the “aliyah” to what the Jewish literature has been describing as Eretz Israel or Yisrael HaShleima (Greater Israel) to the Israeli colonial settlement of the Palestinian land, which the Hebrew state occupied in 1967, while at the same time negating the Palestinian Right of Return, is torpedoing whatever prospect is left for a peaceful solution for the Arab – Israeli conflict, undermining the latest U.S.-sponsored launch of the Palestinian - Israeli talks in (…) -

I came across the following frightening story a couple of days ago: “The nation’s first comprehensive high school homeland security program, a three-year course to help kids land jobs in the growing anti-terrorism industry, is in its infancy in Maryland. But it’s recently been attracting the attention of educators and school districts from as far away as California and Florida…
“Some question whether the program will teach students to be open-minded about the government’s national security (…) -

1 commentby Rosalie Bertell, Ph.D., GNSH Presented in Barcelona, Thursday, 24 June, 2004
Abstract: There has been a fundamental change in the nature of war and militarism since World War I, and this change has escalated out of control since World War II. The use of toxic gas as a weapon, poisoning of water ways or air, and using chemicals in warfare broke the taboo against widespread and indiscriminative killing of non-combatants,.
This trend escalated during WW II through carpet bombings, the (…) -
British retreat from Basra brings us closer to a war with Iran: Seymour Hersh and Agent Provocateurs

3 commentsLet’s analyse the implications of the British ‘withdrawal’ from Basra Iraq.
In 2003 two SAS soldiers were freed from a jail in Basra by the British military after they were caught “wearing Arab clothes” and “shooting at policemen”. From the car that they were driving, they opened “fire on a police checkpoint, killing one. In pursuit, the police surround(ed) and detain the drivers and (found) the vehicle packed with explosives.”
“That’s right – two members of the British Armed forces (…)
