A Mother’s View of War

A Mother’s View By Susan Handle Terbay of Dayton, Ohio
Over four years ago when the President decided it was more important to invade Iraq than it was to pursue the group that attacked us on 9/11. I spoke out about it. I couldn’t grasp the whole meaning of attacking a nation that didn’t attack us and nothing and no one convinced me that was a good idea. Unfortunately my son was called up to go and help invade the country of Iraq. And I held my breath and prayed so hard that this was (…) -

I also predicted that the result of this switch in tactics would lead to higher civilian casualties in those two countries.
We’re now seeing those results. (…) -

Reminder to the crusading Armageddonists ..... “Thou shalt not kill.” Exodus 20: 13
They are at it again. Remember when Milosovic was labelled “the butcher of Belgrade”, the new Hitler? Then Saddam Hussein was “the butcher of Bagdad” and, of course the most dangerous man since Hitler - with weapons of mass destruction which could be unleashed on the world “in forty five minutes”.
Colin Powell lied to the U.N., about the danger Iraq posed to the planet; George (…) -

Recently, at a community forum on the war in Iraq, three individuals who termed themselves collectively as the "Patriots" made the argument that the war in Iraq was, and continues to be, necessary and important to fighting the war on terrorism, creating stability in the Middle East, and perhaps, even to prevent World War Three. Interestingly, none of the three "patriots" were, are, or intend to become (…) -

THE SOVEREIGNTY SHAM
By Peter Fredson
October 26, 2007
. The neoconservative NEW ORDER invaded Iraq by using false statements, killing thousands of its inhabitants, taking all the money in its banks, seizing control of all of its oil, destroying large parts of the infrastructure, and turning control of the country over to Far Right Christians and corporate executives to ravage and loot for fun and profit. It has constructed many firebases and forts, a huge expensive embassy, and (…)
