U.S. troops are deploying massive air and ground fire power against heavily populated residential areas in Baghdad as a prelude to the start of the campaign to retake the city they invaded nearly four years ago.
“The sky is burning,” one witness refusing to be named said of the aerial bombing of mainly Sunni-dominated districts of Haifa, Sheikh Omar and Alawi.
The latest military drive to retake Baghdad, home to nearly six million people, comes (…)

Bush Can Be Beaten in Iraq—The World Wins!
12 January 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsBush’s "troop surge" is just a false tactic leading to WAR WITH IRAN.
The goal is, and has always been, control of all of the Middle East’s oil — not just to grab Iraq’s.
Personally, I see one thing clearly: An unprovoked nuclear attack on Iran by Israel or anyone else would mean that a STATE OF WAR exists between the state making the attack and THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD. Nulear war is forever — it sets intolerable precedents worse than Hiroshima and makes large land masses uninhabitable (…) -

THE NEW POLICY OF MR BUSH
11 January 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentMr Bush is still behaving arrogantly, in spite of his loss in the last election. The new majority in congress and that of the American people are against increasing the troops in Iraq. However, Mr Bush is behaving like the losing gambler, who bids for higher money as he loses more.
The problem in Iraq has been initiated by the occupation, and then started to turn into civil war by the action of militias belonging to Abdulaziz Al-Hakim and muktada Al-Sader. The USA troops in Iraq did not (…) -

Baghdad plunges into darkness
By Ali al-Mawsawi
Azzaman, January 10, 2007
There is no electricity in Baghdad and the city of nearly 6 million people spends its nights in total darkness.
The Ministry of Electricity says the total outage is the result of sabotage in which power lines feeding Baghdad were knocked out.
Nearly four years after the U.S. invasion, the country still has less electricity than under the former leader Saddam Hussein who was executed last month. (…) -

Last night it was the old George W. Bush that we have come to know and despise. It was the obdurate, head-like-cement, aggressive, unrepentant Bush that loves to kill Muslims for his shrinking Dominionist and Reconstructionist Fundamentalist base. He still thinks that some God advised him to go head with killing rag-heads. And, to leave no one out, Barney and Laura still believe in him
Bush had a stroke of genius in his (…) -

1 comment’Blair a war criminal’ 09 January, 2007
Putra Jaya: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said British Prime Minister Tony Blair is as much a war criminal as he (Blair) accused hanged former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein of being one.
The former Prime Minister MALAYSIA said the number of people Blair caused to be killed was "very many more" than the number Saddam caused to be killed.
"Mr Blair has not said a word (on the hanging). Whether he says a word or not, he is a culprit. He is as much (…) -

Ever since the elections of November 2006, George Bush has struggled against reality by immersing himself in a “listening” frenzy with his ears turned only toward advice coinciding with his own flawed judgment. Now, it seems he has come up with a plan to ensure victory and success in Iraq.
From all indications he is going to let the Iraqis take the blame. That is, provided the Iraqis are grateful to Bush and his neocons for (…) -

Friends, Romans & Betrodden Countrypeople: Now that the "Decider in Chief" has crashed our "superpower" into the ancient culture of Babylon, he appears prepared to smash our entire country even deeper into the Bear Trap of Iraq.
