“Myths which are believed in tend to become true.” - George Orwell
Since the release of the Iraq Study Group report, have you noticed how President George W. Bush, is displaying more often those wild, piercing eyes? Can you see the fear? He’s like a character in Fyodor Dostoevsky’s novel “Crime and Punishment,” who has claimed special privileges for himself—like a license to commit crimes—but has been found out! What might be spooking Bush? Could it be his coming impeachment trial by the (…)

I signed a contract with Simon & Schuster two years ago to write a book about the Middle East, based on my personal observations as the Carter Center monitored three elections in Palestine, and on my consultations with Israeli political leaders and (…) -
Impeach Bushco, Save Lives: Open-ended March on DC begins Jan 3rd
14 December 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentThere must be hundreds, if not thousands of anti-bush bloggers… why can’t we all work together? Anti-war patriots need to stop following cointelpro ‘leaders’ and start organizing our own actions.
Wouldn’t it be cool if every one of them put up a “March on DC to Impeach” banner. Haven’t you had enough of the Saturday afternoon protests that go nowhere? Who organizes a march when Congress isn’t even in town?
And this time, we’ll have none of that Nixon waving goodbye bullshit, we demand an (…) -

What We The People Should Do
12 December 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
Mike Rivero at www.WhatReallyHappened.com is exactly right.
What we should do is gather in DC when the new Congress meets and tell them flat out that WE THE PEOPLE refuse to allow anything else to be done until the liars who tricked us into war are impeached, removed from office, and tried for war crimes.
We The People sent the new Congress to DC with a clear mandate. REMIND THEM OF THAT. Practice snarling now. Make a point of opposing any new legislation, no matter what it is. Stop (…) -

War Continues for "Bush’s Ego"? My Rear End!

With all due respect, I can not stand the Paul Craig Roberts "limited hangout" that posits that we are still in Iraq (and Afghanistan for that matter) due to One Man’s Ego. Nor can I stand the implication that there was any "mistake" at all about Iraq (or Afghanistan, while we’re at it). The United States wanted to get into Iraq and Afghanistan and control their oil resources long before 9/11 even happened.
Let’s state the (…) -

War is another way of saying we’re going to kill you now or else.
War has become America’s heart disease, and we are dying from it.
America holds the hopes, dreams and nightmares of the world in our privileged hands. Also most of the atomic weapons.
C.I.A. was created by a group of corporate police and military agents to make the war machine work for the economy. "Central (…) -

A Young Marine Speaks Out
9 December 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsA Young Marine Speaks Out By Philip Martin December 08, 2006 I’m sick and tired of this patriotic, nationalistic and fascist crap. I stood through a memorial service today for a young Marine that was killed in Iraq back in April. During this memorial a number of people spoke about the guy and about his sacrifice for the country. How do you justify ’sacrificing’ your life for a war which is not only illegal, but is being prosecuted to the extent where the only thing keeping us there is one (…)
