Australia funded Saddam Hussein and thence the Iraqi insurgency to the tune of US$250 MILLION via a wheat sale kickback scam by monopoly company AWB (Australian Wheat Board). However despite the fact that everybody else involved, including Australian Intelligence, knew about the Iraqi kickback system, the Australian Government STILL denies having known. According to Opposition Leader Kim Beazley (a longstanding, loyal friend of America but opposed to the Iraq War): "I’m embarrassed as an (…)

By JOSHUA FRANK
The search is finally over. Sen. John Kerry is believed to have found his heroic voice. He apparently misplaced it back in the early ’70s after standing up to the U.S. war in Vietnam upon his saluted return from battle. Now many antiwar liberals believe Kerry is dissenting yet again.
"I have come here today to reaffirm that it was right to dissent in 1971 from a war that was wrong. And to affirm that it (…) -

President Bush; Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld; the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Peter Pace; the head of the U.S. Central Command, Gen. John P. Abizaid; (…) -

US policy in Iraq: A War Launched to Erase both the Culture and Future of the Iraqi people
The Association of Iraqi Academics estimates that more than 180 academics, from a wide range of academic and scientific fields of study from all over Iraq, have been assassinated since the US invasion in 2003. Many hundreds more have been forced into exile. Most were high-level academic staff members. The Spanish Campaign Against the Occupation and for the Sovereignty of Iraq (…) -

Is the US Waging Israel’s Wars?
By LINDA S. HEARD
Many throughout the Muslim world and beyond are asking this question: What are the real reasons behind the US invasion of Iraq and its wish to overthrow the governments of Syria and Iran?
For all their grandiose posturing, in truth, Iraq, Syria and Iran have never posed a direct threat to the US mainland. Put simply, they’re too far away from the neighbourhood. So why would the US be willing to expend so many (…) -
