Just when you thought you’ve heard it all...
A senior government official with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has expressed great interest in a so-called safety bracelet that would serve as a stun device, similar to that of a police Taser®. According to this promotional video found at the Lamperd Less Lethal website, the bracelet would be worn by all airline passengers.
This bracelet would:
• take the place of an airline boarding pass
• contain (…)

“As GM Goes, So Goes the Nation”

1 comment“As GM Goes, So Goes the Nation” By David Glenn Cox
“As GM Goes, So Goes the Nation.” Such was the conventional wisdom in the 1960’s when GM churned out Chevelles, Camaros, Cutlasses, Catalinas, and Cadillacs by the millions. Maybe the saying "runs like a Cadillac" will outlive the company; maybe “As GM Goes, So Goes the Nation” has never been truer. GM’s future is bleak, analysts predict that GM may soon go broke as new car sales stumble.

REFLECTIONS ON THE ORIGINS AND MEANING OF AMERICA’S INDEPENDENCE DAY
Why no on should be surprised when America behaves as an international bully
John Chuckman
If you relish myths and enjoy superstition, then the flatulent speeches of America’s Independence Day, July 4, were just the thing for you. No religion on earth has more to offer along these lines than America celebrating itself.
Some, believing the speeches but curious, ask how did a nation founded on (…) -
Happy Birthday America: A Bunch of Spoiled, Whiny Brats
6 July 2008 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentThe American executive and legislative branches of government are in dire need of an aggressive purge in the form of a no-confidence referendum. Unfortunately, the American people have no such device to rid themselves of desiccated people and the interests that tell them what American national policies should be. More’s the pity, presidential candidates Barack Obama (D) and John McCain (R) have merely repackaged the status quo and are selling it as new-face-equals-new policy. None of it adds (…)

U.S. President George W. Bush recently stated that he would be remembered for liberating 50 million people from the clutches of barbaric regimes. Bush represents a lineage of liars whose expert propaganda turns truth on its hinder for the sake of promoting the power interests which they serve.
It is time that these lies be exposed and translated for the people of the US who do not seem to (…) -
Independence Day

Independence Day By David Glenn Cox
There is nothing new under the sun, the murder of Caesar or the shots in Dallas. Conspiracies demand either victims or adherents. You’re either with us or agin us, sound familiar? We must all hang together or certainly we shall all hang separately. Ah, but that’s the point entirely! To hang you separately! You, who toil for a living, to educate children or deliver bread, or drive a beer truck or embalm the dead, all separated (…) -
Barack Obama Is Taking On a Lot of Bum Advice
3 July 2008 par (Open-Publishing)
“As soon as someone is identified as an unsung hero, he no longer is.” - George Carlin
After Sen. Barack Obama, clinched the nomination to be the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate in the 2008 election, he began taking on bum advice. He is also running “scared” and it’s only July! No wonder the GOP’s standard bearer, Sen. John McCain, is smiling more these days. Sen. Obama, the supposed “Candidate of Change,” is fast reprising Sen. John Kerry’s losing, timid, don’t-rock-the boat (…) -
